Continue ReadingWith the release of the latest PGH Colorado rankings update for the Class of 2022 prior to the start of the 2019-20 postseason in Colorado, a total of 16 new players joined the rankings. Some have emerged through excellent sophomore campaigns, others are popping up at smaller schools that receive less exposure or have been injured, and many of them probably should have already been in the rankings to begin with.
If you missed Part 1 of this series, be sure to check it out. Here are five more 2022’s who recently entered the PGH Colorado rankings, and where they’re at having just completed their sophomore seasons.
Mykaela Moore Mykaela Moore 5'5" | SG Windsor | 2022 State CO , 5-5, SG, Windsor
A solid defender with good length for her height and is a good shooter who picks her moments well, Moore had a very good sophomore season. The guard was second on the team in scoring, averaging 9.4 points per game while shooting 32 percent (18 for 56) from 3-point range. Moore was also second on the team with 1.8 steals a night and was excellent in the postseason.
Moore is part of a very promising 2022 graduating class at Windsor. If you need proof, scroll down a little ways to get a look at one of her teammates.
In our latest rankings update, Moore entered the list at No 55.

Sweetwine is a talented long-range shooter who will let it fly from anywhere, and the sophomore averaged 8.5 points per game in 2019-20. Some of her best scoring performances as a sophomore came against tough opponents like Vista PEAK, George Washington and Chaparral. Sweetwine also has good quickness and is fast with the ball in her hands, and averaged 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 over 24 games as a sophomore.
Sweetwine hit the PGH Colorado rankings at No. 58 in the Class of 2022.
Jolie Jiricek Jolie Jiricek 5'6" | SG Windsor | 2022 State CO , 5-6, SG, Windsor
Jiricek has good speed that allows her to attack the basket off the dribble. She is developing her long-range jump shot and should continue to be a growing threat from behind the arc. That’s not so say she isn’t already, as Jiricek averaged 7.5 points a game as a sophomore while making 26 percent of her long-range attempts.
Jiricek entered the 2022 rankings at No. 60.
Sophie Adamson Sophie Adamson 5'8" | CG Rye | 2022 State CO , 5-8, CG, Rye
A nice young player who has a good feel for the rhythm of a game and knows how to find the ball, Adamson’s scoring numbers soared as a sophomore. Not only did she average an even 13 points a game, the sophomore guard also helped drive her teams with 5.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and three steals.
Adamson joins the 2022 rankings at No. 61.

Jefferson didn’t back down from anyone as a sophomore and instead put her athletic ability and drive on display at both ends of the floor while helping the Bison reach the 5A Sweet 16. Jefferson had come big scoring nights on her way to averaging 9.6 points, and also had two steals a game on defense. A versatile young player who isn’t afraid to dive of the floor for loose balls all game long, Jefferson is definitely one to keep an eye on moving forward and could start moving up the rankings fast.
Jefferson entered the 2022 list at No. 62.
