There were a lot of seniors that had great seasons and accomplished a lot in their encore campaign. We will look at the finalists for the Most Outstanding Player, and choose 1 recipient of the honor. This was a loaded and deep field with any number of deserving finalists and award winners.
* Since previous articles had covered my stand on inviting as many as finalists as deserve to be there, I have cut my list to just the top 7. There are additional players, that if I was holding an awards ceremony, would certainly be invited.

MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER
Gabrielle Elliott Gabrielle Elliott 5'11" | SF Detroit Edison | 2020 State MI (SF, Detroit Edison)
Elliott is an elite athlete with prime time skills. She attacks the basket off the wing and is an efficient 3 level scorer. In my opinion, Elliott is a top 15-20 prospect nationally. She was the leader of a Detroit Edison squad looking to 4-peat as state champions. With that, came an incredible amount of pressure, the most of which falls on the shoulders of the senior leader. Elliott handled that pressure with grace and class. She, and her Detroit Edison team, lived up to any and all expectations in the 2019-2020 season. Elliott had led her team to the Regional Finals and were ready to defend their title.
