Kylee Watson Kylee Watson 6'4" | SF Mainland | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Mainland
Watson is always the top player to watch. The Oregon commit is the top-ranked player in New Jersey and the best in the tournament. Mainland is coming off a Cape-Atlantic League championship game appearance and is the No. 1 seed in the bracket. Led by Watson, they are the current favorite to pick up a state title.
Haileigh Schafer (2021) | Absegami
Absegami will have the job of taking on Mainland in the semi-final. They have won the first two games by a combined nine points. Schafer scored a team-high 18 points in the quarterfinals. She is averaging 14.5 points over the first two and will need to keep that up against Mainland. Schafer is capable of taking over a game and that is something she showed throughout the season.
Emily Maire (2020) | Toms River East
Maire has dominated the first two games thus far. She finished with 10 points and eight rebounds in round one and followed that up with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the quarterfinal against Central Regional. That was her fourth double-double of the season. Maire has the ability to score from either side when on the post. She is also a capable rebounder who can dominate the glass.
Abbey Fenton (2020) | Ocean City
Fenton leads a very balanced scoring attack for Ocean City. She was the leading scorer in the quarterfinal with nine points. Nine different players scored in the 43-28 victory. This is a good sign moving forward. Ocean City will be favorite in this game and Fenton is a reason why. She leads the team scoring 10.5 points per game and is an elite passer who always finds her teammates in the right position. Fenton’s numbers may not jump off the page but she passes the eye test with flying colors.
