Who will step up following the departure of Alexandra Zelaya and Jasmine Singleton?
Zelaya and Singleton have been a huge factor in the team’s continued success. This season, Zelaya set the single season scoring record for Millennium, while Singleton set the record for the most steals and assists. Both of their presence on the court will be missed next season, but who will step up in their absence?
Who will step up for Sunrise Mountain with the departure of Teryn Demaree?
Demaree was the player who did most of the work on the court for Sunrise Mountain in the game. Demaree was the team’s leading scorer, finishing with 16 points, the only one to reach double digits in the game.
Trayanna Crisp and Kassidy Dixon have the potential to be the next dynamic duo for Millennium
Next year, Crisp will be a junior and Dixon will be a senior, and I fully expect them to be the heart and soul of the team as the only two returning starters on the team next year.
Mackenzie Dunham and Reena Bhakta are the future for Sunrise Mountain
Both Dunham and Bhakta are only freshmen, but they both have the potential to grow in to strong players by the time their junior season rolls around in 2021-2022.
Millennium’s Amoret Maxwell flies under the radar
The Tigers’ talent pool is so deep that it can be easy to fly under the radar, especially when you’re a bench player. However when it really mattered, Maxwell came to play and showed why she could be one of the next big ballers on the court for Millennium, putting up 11 points on the night.
