Here are the players who were named First Team All-State.
Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ (2022) | St. John Vianney
The team begins with the New Jersey Player of the Year. And is just a sophomore. St. Rose led the Lancers to a record of 28-1 behind 18.5 points per contest. St. Rose is an all-around talent. She can score from anywhere on the floor and she proved that during St. John Vianney’s Shore Conference Tournament run. She scored 36 points in the semi-finals and 23 in the final game against Manchester. St. Rose was the best player in the state this season and it is scary to think that she has two more seasons.
Kylee Watson Kylee Watson 6'4" | SF Mainland | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Mainland
The No. 1 ranked player in New Jersey’s Class of 2020 and the lone McDonald’s All-American from the state. Watson is an Oregon commit and finished her high school career strong. Watson is an extremely versatile player that can score from inside or out. She is a natural ball handler which makes her valuable on the court. Watson faced many difficult situations this season from opposing defenses and came out on top in most of them. Watson will continue to be a force at the next level.
Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ (2021) | Manchester Township
Adams is ranked in the top 40 in ESPN’s Class of 2021 rankings. She averaged 18.1 points and 11.7 points per game during her junior season. Adams has started since her freshman season where she burst onto the scene. Now, she is viewed as the best forward in the state. Manchester won their fourth straight South Jersey Group 2 sectional title, three while Adams has been in the program. She will enter her senior season as a preseason All-State player and contender for Player of the Year.
Brynn Farrell Brynn Farrell 6'0" | SG St. Rose | 2020 State NJ (2020) | St. Rose
Farrell will go down as not only one of the top players in St. Rose history, but one of the best in the Shore Conference. Farrell scored over 2,000 points in her career. As a senior, she average 20.1 points per contest. She scored double-figures in St. Rose’s final nine games and put up 32 points in the Shore Tournament semis. Farrell was a natural scorer throughout her entire career.
Maniya Custis Maniya Custis 5'3" | PG Trenton Catholic | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Trenton Catholic
Custis is a Central Florida commit and they are getting a true point guard. Custis played on a tremendous Trenton Catholic team and did not have to put up massive numbers. Although she did on many occasions. Custis scored over 10 points per contest this season. She elevated her game when her team needed it the most. Custis was a floor general. Her basketball IQ and feel for the game is something that cannot be taught. Central Florida is getting a player that knows how to control the tempo of a game and make the right decisions.
