Malone is a perfect example of drive and what hard work will do as she went from a developmental back to the basket player into a legitimate 3, 4 or 5 that is recognized as one of the top players in the country and after helping lead her Village School squad to 6A State Championship, she decided it was time so I asked, why A&M? “I’ve been watching the team for a long time. As I got older and playing basketball more, I took notice of the family environment and their style of play” said Malone. “I’ve also had the opportunity with my high school to visit campus and explore the academic side which is very important. It all fit for me.” Malone is one 5 of the PGH Top 12 that have made their decisions
Jada Malone Jada Malone 6'3" | PF The Village School | 2021 State #30 Nation TX (The Village School) Texas A&M
Current Rank #1
Malone is a force to be reckoned with in the paint yet she also has developed her outside shot, from mid to long-range and it’s consistent and when you add in her ability to handle the ball in the open court as well as defend outside the paint, she’ll make the adjustment as quick as you can say Gig Em!
AJ Marotte AJ Marotte 6'0" | CG Vista Ridge | 2021 State TX (Vista Ridge) Washington
Current Rank #4
Marotte is going into an excellent system for her style of play, she’s at the magic number which is 6’0 tall and she can just flat out shoot the ball from everywhere on the court. Her creativity to get by defenders or just got right at them is second to none and she doesn’t force it, just does it in the flow
Evie Goetz Evie Goetz 5'11" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX (Denton Guyer) TCU
Current Rank #8
Goetz is over the magic number and the magic doesn’t stop with her height as she is one of the best clutch shooters in Texas and will send a message as soon as she hits the floor. Her ability to take defenders off the dribble and hit the stop and pop or drop the long ball, she can go
Paige Bradley Paige Bradley 5'9" | SG Bishop Lynch | 2021 State #95 Nation TX (Bishop Lynch) Texas
Current Rank #9
Bradley just gets the job done over and over and her versatility of being a scorer or facilitator gives her numerous options because she sizes defenses up before going the attack and before you know it, she has filled up the stat sheet. The smoothness of her jumper is something to see and will she will Hook Em!
Bria McClure Bria McClure 5'6" | PG Steele | 2021 State TX (Cibolo Steele) College Of Charleston
Current Rank #12
McClure just caught my eye the first time I saw her and watching what she has become has been a treat. She’s a vocal leader that can spark her teammates just like that, the game starts at the one and going from good to great is when you make those around you better, she does that more like acrobatic finishes, zipping no looks or dropping the long ball from NBA range, I left arenas with SMH numerous times
