The small forwards of this class will have a bunch of players moving on to play at the collegiate levels. Versatility with some inside-out ability is what this position is all about and the colleges have taken notice of these players.
The 3A state MVP Meghan Fiso Meghan Fiso 5'10" | SF Garfield | 2020 State WA comes in at number one for the small forward position (feature image). Fiso really came into her own in the second half of her senior year and never slowed down as she helped lead Garfield to the 3A state title. She has a great midrange game and can make some plays off the bounce or knock down catch and shoot threes. She will suit up for Michigan for college. Kennewick’s MeiLani McBee MeiLani McBee 5'11" | SF Kennewick | 2020 State WA has been a super steady performer over the course of her high school career and that is why she will be playing at Hawaii next season. McBee is a high IQ player with a good outside shot. At number three is Bainbridge High School’s star player, Olivia Wikstrom Olivia Wikstrom 6'0" | SF Bainbridge | 2020 State WA . Wikstrom is wiry and long with good energy and the ability to score the ball from the wing position. She has signed to Northern Colorado. Next up is Snohomish High School’s Kaylin Beckman Kaylin Beckman 5'11" | SF Snohomish | 2020 State WA . The future Whitman College player is a bruiser inside with the skill to step out and hit the outside shot. She is a hard working, team-oriented player. Rounding out the final two slots are future George Fox players, Jordan Ryan Jordan Ryan 6'0" | SF Columbia River | 2020 State WA (Columbia River HS) and Mackenzie Lewis Mackenzie Lewis 5'11" | SF Union | 2020 State WA (Union HS).
