For the purposes of this report, I will categorize the majority of the players that fall into the “small forward” position. The small forward position is solid and a handful have a legitimate shot at playing Division 1 basketball. The depth of talent is decent, but there are some solid college prospects nonetheless.
2021 Rankings: The Wings
5’11 SF Tamia Stricklin Tamia Stricklin 5'11" | SF Seattle Prep | 2021 State WA (Seattle Prep HS) – Skilled, unselfish lefty. Three level scorer and quality rebounder with good size on the wing. Overall ranking: #5
5’10 SF MJ Bruno MJ Bruno 5'10" | SF Central Valley | 2021 State WA (Central Valley HS) – Defender, rebounder and slasher. Bruno never takes possessions off or “floats” while she is on the court. Portland commit. Overall ranking: #7
5’11 SF Jaydia Martin Jaydia Martin 6'0" | SF Hudson's Bay | 2021 State WA (Hudson’s Bay HS) – Naturally gifted lefty with good size. Versatile on the court with room for growth. Best basketball is ahead of her. Overall ranking: #11
5’10 SF Taliyah Clark Taliyah Clark 5'10" | SF Bishop Blanchet | 2021 State WA (Bishop Blanchet HS) – Strong, competitive and skilled perimeter player. Capable of getting hot from deep and filling it up. Seattle University has offered. Overall ranking: #12
6’0 SF Molly Moffitt Molly Moffitt 6'1" | SF Seattle Prep | 2021 State WA (Seattle Prep HS) – Strong, aggressive player that can attack and score going down hill. Above average rebounder and stock riser from the Winter. Overall ranking: #18
6’0 SF Jaliyah Sampson Jaliyah Sampson 6'0" | SF Rainier Beach | 2021 State WA (Rainier Beach HS) – Athletic wing with a college level frame. Can shoot the three or drive and score. High ceiling. Overall ranking: #22
5’11 SF Skylar Bea Skylar Bea 5'11" | SF Washougal | 2021 State WA (Washougal HS) – Skilled, tough and versatile weapon on the wing. Rebounds and competes. Comes from a great basketball family. Overall ranking: #49
5’10 SF Lolo Weatherspoon Lolo Weatherspoon 5'10" | SF Union | 2021 State WA (Union HS) – Slasher that attacks the basket hard and turns defense to offense. A competitor out of Vancouver! Overall ranking: #50
