Best scorer
Moorestown Friends’ Veyoni Davis Veyoni Davis 5'8" | CG Moorestown | 2024 PA can score from all three levels. Whether she’s attacking the rim, stopping on a dime for a pull up or hitting from deep, defenses couldn’t figure out how to slow her down. She reached double digits in 25 out of 26 games, scoring a whopping 519 points for the season. She scored a season-high 35 points in a win against Friends Central.
Best floor general
Saddle River Day’s Saniah Caldwell Saniah Caldwell 5'8" | PG Saddle River Day | 2022 State #52 Nation NJ has stats that are so impressive, they seem like something straight out of a video game. She drained a ridiculous 81 3-pointers, grabbed 146 rebounds, made 159 steals and handed out 130 assists. The do-it-all guard averaged 20.6 points per game for her squad, which finished 23-3.
Best post player
Red Bank Catholic’s Ally Carman Ally Carman 6'5" | C Red Bank Catholic | 2022 State NJ is also a candidate for the state’s most improved player. The 6-5 center dominated the boards, blocked shots and showed off real low-post moves. She averaged 13.8 points per game and it’s scary to think how good she will be in two years.
Best combo guard
St. John’s Vianney’s Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ was the most complete guard in the state this season. The bigger the stage, the better the performance for St. Rose, whose signature moment was a 36-point effort in a Shore Conference Tournament semifinal victory. She also shook loose for 21 points in a win against St. Rose in the South Jersey, Non-Public A final.
Best shooter
At 6-3, Justine Pissott Justine Pissott 6'3" | SG Red Bank Catholic | 2022 State NJ ’s shot is nearly impossible to block. Considering she is the best 3-point shooter in the state, that is bad news for Red Bank Catholic’s opponents. Pissott drained 67 of her signature shots this season en route to averaging 12.5 points per game.
