There are also superstar players that are receiving more national recognition. This time it’s coming from ESPN’s Hoopgurlz rankings, which are put together by Dan Olson. We will look at the Michigan prospects ranked nationally by ESPN, plus a few players that were omitted that I feel were worthy of a ranking.

Salenbien is a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches. Her size, ball skills, and versatility make her a top notch prospect on a national scale.
AJ Ediger AJ Ediger 6'3" | PF Hamilton | 2021 State #54 Nation MI (PF, Hamilton)
ESPN Ranking: #47
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #6
Ediger is a slick post player that can face the rim and get buckets. She’s aggressive on the glass on both ends.
Morasha Wiggins Morasha Wiggins 6'0" | SF Kalamazoo Central | 2021 State #42 Nation MI (SG, Kalamazoo Central)

Wiggins was injured for much of the high school season. In my opinion, if she healthy, she’d be looking at a top 20-25 ranking. Wiggins’ 2-way play will have her climbing the list in no time.
