Nekhu Mitchell Nekhu Mitchell 6'0" | SF McDonogh | 2022 State MD , 6 foot Wing, McDonogh , 2022
Nekhu is a versatile wing that can play 2 through 5 offensively, and guard 1 through 5 defensively. She can score from all three levels and is a good passer from the wing position. She has set McDonogh single season rebounding records twice as she is an elite rebounder. Offensively she is elite as a cutter and catch and shoot player. She runs the floor like a deer and has a great motor to go with her stamina. With the skill set she possesses, she needs to be more aggressive offensively. She was a 1st team IAAM A conference selection. She has a lot of interest from schools. She has multiple offers from Power 5 schools and mid majors.
Gabby Johnson, 5’8 Point Guard, Western, 2022
Gabby is the total package at the guard position. She fills up a stat sheet on both ends of the court. She has elite vision that is displayed in both the half court and full court that allows her to pick apart defenses and set up her teammates. She is is a deadly mid range shooter on pull ups, and very lethal from the 3 point line. She is very good at shooting off of the dribble, especially in pick and roll situations. Her ball handling ability allows her to get anywhere on the court and get her shot when needed. Defensively she is active in press defenses and causes a lot of steals and deflections. She is also very good at shot blocking for a guard. She plays with a confidence that separates her from her peers. Gabby was a 1st team all city (Baltimore) selection as a sophomore. She has a ton of interest from colleges. She already has 5 offers. (Southern Conference, Atlantic 10, MEAC, NEC, and MAAC)
Cori Barnes Cori Barnes 5'11" | PF Baltimore Poly | 2022 State MD , 5”10 Shooting Guard, St Frances Academy, Shooting Guard, 2022
Cori is an elite outside shooter. Although she is elite at the catch and shoot, she is not just a catch and shoot player. She possesses great footwork that allows her to shoot off of screens, dribble hand offs and off the dribble. With her size and ball handling, Cori has the ability to put the ball on the floor attack close outs and finish. Cori has developed into a good on ball defender. She uses her length to keep ball handlers in front her and loves to come over for help side blocked shots. She has a lot of interest in the NEC, American East, and Ivy League.
DK Turner, 6”2 Post, St Frances Academy, 2022
DK has great size for a post. She runs the floor very well. She has great hands that allows her to catch and finish in traffic. She has a good mid range jump shot and is expanding her range to the 3 point line. She rebounds in her area very well. She has great footwork and a good post game. She will pick up offers this summer.
Kortnei McMurray, 5’9 Wing, Western, 2022
Kortnei has good size for a guard. She has excellent touch on her jump shot and shoots a high percentage inside the 3 point line. She has improved her range and is comfortable launching threes. She looked a lot more comfortable in her sophomore year at Western. She is a good on ball defender that gives defenses trouble with her length. She is also a good passer.
Destiny Holmes Destiny Holmes 5'8" | PG Forest Park | 2022 State MD , 5’6 Point Guard, St Frances, 2022
Destiny is a scorer. She finds ways to put the ball in the bucket. She is a good 3 point shooter,especially from the corners. She is a downhill player that is constantly attacking. She consistently gets to the free throw line. She is improving her decision making and should evolve into a solid combo guard . She is a good point of attack defender and plays the passing lanes pretty well.
Tsion Smith Tsion Smith 5'2" | CG Mount Carmel | 2022 State MD , 5”8 Guard, Mount Carmel, 2022
Tsion is a knock down shooter who can get very hot very quick. She is a very strong defender who can guard multiple positions. She is a good at attacking downhill. She has an extremely high basketball IQ and is excellent both on and off the ball. She won’t be outworked and is extremely coachable and a great teammate.
Cydney Curtis, 5”7 Guard, Institute of Notre Dame (IND), 2022
Cydney is a physical point guard. She plays at a controlled tempo and never lets the defense speed her up. She is a good 3 point shooter and has a good mid range game based on pull up jump shots and floaters. Her sophomore year at IND allowed her to evolve into a solid lead guard.
Ny’Ceara Pryor Ny’Ceara Pryor 5'2" | PG Western | 2022 State MD , 5’5 Point Guard, Western, 2022
Ny’Ceara ,also known as Little Mama, is the definition of elite. Offensively her athletic ability allows her to do things most people can’t do. She is unstoppable in transition and is an elite play maker in the open court. Her speed and outstanding ball handling ability allows her to live in the lane and cause defenses to break down. Her jumping ability and body controls allow her to finish over bigger defenders with ease. She’s a good shooter with 3 point range. Defensively she is a terror. At her size, she still finds a way to constantly lead her teams in rebounds and blocks. She is elite as an on the ball defender and even better when off the ball in help. Ny’Ceara has been a 1st team all city (Baltimore) performer both her freshman and sophomore years. Interest level from schools are very high. She has 5 offers. (Southern Conference, Atlantic 10, MEAC, Colonial)
Trinity Massenburg Trinity Massenburg 6'1" | PF Baltimore Poly | 2023 State MD , 6”1 Forward, Baltimore Poly, 2023
Trinity is a dynamic athlete. She runs the floor better than guards and has a wingspan of a condor. She is also the fiercest competitor you will see on the court. She rebounds both in and out of her area. She has great hands and finishes well. She has range out to the 3 point line. She can defend 1-5 at a high level. She is already gaining college interest due to her physical nature.
