Who won the league in ’19-20?
Regis Jesuit and Highlands Ranch started off the season attending a tournament out of state playing against some of the top teams in the country. The first time the two teams met on Feb. 18 at Highlands Ranch, it was an intense game that was all about the defense. In a low scoring-game, 37-35 in overtime, Regis Jesuit took the win and dealt the Falcons their second loss to an in-state opponent.
Highlands Ranch finished the season at 21-6 overall, 9-1 in league. Three of those losses came against team that were in a tournament out of state and two came against Cherry Creek. Regis Jesuit finished its season with a 21-5 record, and went 10-0 in league play to win the Continental. The Raiders lost four games against teams that are out of state and their only loss came from a league team Highlands Ranch in a Great 8 battle.
