This article shines some light on Wichita area hoopers who are new additions to the list or who otherwise are gaining attention.
#82 Derryana Cobbins Derryana Cobbins 5'6" | CG Derby | 2021 State KS , Derby, 5’9″, W — 2020 AVCTL Div I honorable mention. Showed athleticism getting to the rim quickly and speed in transition. Is a good perimeter shooter including from beyond the arc. Transfer from Wichita Heights. Cobbins played for Ohlde Elite in 2019. With the club’s closure Cobbins will be playing for Wheat State Elite this summer.

Next Level Eclipse
Wichita — 12.14.19 – [Cheney] Cardinal Classic all tournament. Developing center who has improved her quickness to offensive rebound better, finish around the rim, and to leave who she’s guarding to help teammates challenge shots off the bounce. Given her height and the speed at which her game has developed in the past 16 months she will be on a lot of radars. Has good end-to-end speed, passes in the interior well, and has good hands to catch interior passes. Needs to improve strength, show multiple post moves in the paint against quality bigs, and ability with the dribble. Nworie will continue to play

#95 Maddy Mairs Maddy Mairs 5'11" | PF Wichita Collegiate | 2021 State KS , Wichita Collegiate, 5’11”, PF — Two time AVCTL Div IV first team. Solid, strong build. 2020 Mulvane Classic all-tournament. Averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds. Mairs played for Ohlde Elite in 2019.
#111 Deseree Adair Deseree Adair 5'9" | SF Wichita East | 2021 State KS , Wichita East, 5’9″, F — Good transition speed. Presence as a shot blocker and rebounder. Needs to develop an outside game, an ability to score with her left, and box out better. Big body, strong. Elevates quickly and well. Can dribble drive from the FT line and finish but not polished. Adair will be playing for the new Dynasty club this summer.
#113 Jennifer Jacobs Jennifer Jacobs 6'0" | SF Kapaun Mt. Carmel | 2021 State KS , Kapaun Mt. Carmel, 6’0″, F — 2020 Greater Wichita League honorable mention. Reign the Plains (July 2019) – Jacobs just flat works hard all the time on the floor. Needs to continue to polish her overall game, get stronger, and show the willingness to step in to draw charges from opposing guards attacking the basket. Jacobs played for Next Level Eclipse Wichita in 2019.
#121 Baylee Miller Baylee Miller 5'9" | PF Maize | 2021 State KS , Maize, 5’9″, PF — 2020 AVCTL Div I second team. Quick, strong, athletic defender. Good shot blocking sense with ability to leave her player to help. Good transition speed. Operates on perimeter well and has nearly 25′ three point range.

Offer from Colby Community College. Harding will be playing for Next Level Eclipse this summer after playing for BGCB a year ago.
#132 Khloe Schuckman Khloe Schuckman CG Bishop Carroll | 2021 State KS , Bishop Carroll, G — 2020 Greater Wichita League first team. Strong motor and anticipation sense. Quick hands, disrupts high ball screens. Solid mid-range and perimeter shooter. Fast with the ball, good vision in transition and the half court.
