Ashley Corpus Ashley Corpus 5'6" | CG Southwest Legacy | 2021 State TX (Southwest Legacy) solidified what I thought at South Texas Classic and jumped into the Top 100 but I’m catching impressive players everywhere Semaj Adams (Stevens) Shayla Dede (Taft) Emily Samuels and Addy Espinoza are among those that caught my eye in various events but always remember this hashtag, #talentiseverywhere if you know what you’re looking at
Presley Young 5’8 CG (Blanco) Young shot the midrange so well at last year’s #AllEyezOnMe that it’s no surprise that she averaged a double-double, 16/11 this season. Fundamentally sound, can play multiple positions. Great work ethic and Leader on the court. An exceptional strong player that can mix it up down low as well.
Kyra Self 6’0 P (First Baptist Academy) Self definitely showing various signs as a solid post player. She understands the simple things, boxing out, moving without the ball and she also showed good hands and footwork but her work ethic is second to none
Sydney Solitaire 5’3 PG (Clark) Solitaire shows once again, size don’t matter when you can play and her comprehension is second to none she understands how to run a team, control tempo and she does a good job handling the ball
Hannah Gallegos 5’3 PG (Harlan) Gallegos is a heady guard, again #sizedontmatter and she just makes plays and gets the ball to right people with crisp passes on the money. She also showed she could score, does a good job at creating her shot
Jada Mangum 5’6 G (Harlan) Mangum is a speedy guard that comes right at you, over and over and she sees the floor and can hit teammates on the money, going full speed. Mixes it up nicely on offense, scores of the dribble or from the outside
Lanie Douget 5’3 G (Johnson) Douget is on a talented team loaded with guards yet she makes her presence felt when she’s on the court. Here’s that hashtag #sizedontmatter when you can play as well as plays within yourself because she doesn’t force anything
