Makayla Wilford-forward (Round Rock) Wilford’s release is quick and accurate, she has good form and she also can attack and finish strongly after contact but her defense, including playing the passing lane combined with her energy level are all pluses but it doesn’t stop there because she’s one of those players that can get hers in the flow as well as fill up a stat sheet
Kaila Hamilton-forward (Hendrickson) Hamilton stands at 6’1 and what I really like about her game is that she can make things happen on both ends at times looking effortlessly in doing so. She’s constantly moving without the ball, that’s a lost art and her reacting on defense enables her to play the passing lane well and on top of all of that, she can score
Angie Sacco -forward (Cedar Park) Sacco is one of those “hard hat” type players because you better be ready because she definitely will be. She’s a terror on the inside, battles after everything off the glass, on both ends of the court and when I watch her hands and footwork, I’m definitely looking at throwback player but to add even more, she can spot up shoot the ball
Nnaja Diogu (Weiss) Diogu is at “the magic number” that’s 6’0 if you’re just tuning in yet she’s tuned u and out as she continues to elevate her game. Good BB-IQ reacts well on both ends of the court and shows that desire I love to see in a player. With her size and mindset, she’s definitely on the right course, her rebounding and defense are solid, the offense is coming around
