#7: 2023, 6’0, PF, Clovis West, Etoya Montgomery Etoya Montgomery 6'0" | PF Clovis West HS | 2023 State CA – Etoya is special as well, athletic wing type body with great timing for blocking shots, dominant in the post area, shot the midrange with consistency, but was a rebounding machine that just keeps coming at you. Her rebounding and shot blocking skills are unmatched by anyone in her class, but one thing I like is that she can get a bucket any time she wants. Major upside on this kid.
#13: 2023, 6’0, PF, Bonita Vista (San Diego), Madison Canon Madison Canon 6'0" | PF Eastlake | 2023 State CA – Madison is unorthodox in her approach to the game, but she is really effective at what she does, she is tough to the rim thru contact as well. She scores all around the basket like a bull in a china shop approach, which works for the team dynamic she plays in. She is getting more skilled as I watch her play and she is gonna improve on the smoothness to her game in the long run. She is a must watch freshman in San Diego and she will get better each and every game.
#20: 2023, 5’11, PF, Artesia HS, Samerika Young Samerika Young 5'11" | SF Artesia HS | 2023 State CA – Samerika is a monster, she does everything a player should do to help their team win. Her handles are decent, her scoring ability is impressive and she not only contributed on the offensive side of the ball, but killed it on the boards. She has decent size and nice body type that moved very well on the floor, plus she is a freshman, better recognize.
#37: 2023, 6’1, PF, Central HS (Fresno), Talia Maxwell – Talia is a capable forward with a nice body type for the game, she can run the floor and finish as well get rebounds on the defensive and offensive end of the floor. She can catch and swing thru and get to the rim, she can block shots and is a good shot blocker on defense. Saw her push the break and give the right pass to her teammates for a score or finish herself.
#52: 2023, 5’11, PF, Salesian College Prep HS, Alyssa Jackson – Alyssa has a strong body type along with some good height which makes her a pretty good prospect. She can finish at the rim with both hands, she can finish thru contact as well and is a great teammate. She can shoot it out to the midrange with consistency and is a decent rebounder for her team as well as being a great thief, averaging about 2 steals per game. Major upside for this kid in our opinion.
