Zaadiyah Stoval (Judson) played valuable minutes during their run while Cali Perez (Stevens) started at SG and what about Ria Lalith who’s waiting for her turn at Brandeis, as well as Meagan Huerta and plant of buzz coming about Sarah Samuelson who is 5’11 and has great athleticism as well as run the ONE, 3, 4 and 5 positions but here are some I’ve seen multiple times
Emery Black 5’6 ( NB Canyon HS)
Black made all district starting at the one but check out what I said 2 years ago strong and powerful sums her game up but the intangibles are simply everywhere as she plays hard on every possession, she battles for boards, finishes strong in the paint and can score from outside which simply means she has a huge upside
Annalia Cuellar 5’4 (Stevens)
Cuellar is a deadly shooter but wait, 2 years ago “ instant offense sort of sums her up, or does it. She creates well under pressure and gets her shot off nicely but more importantly she is consistent. When you can mix it up by taking defenders off the dribble coupled with her shooting, good things will happen”
Chayse Goetz 5’10 (NB Canyon HS)
Goetz is an all-around beast but wait, you see where this is going right, 2 years ago my exact words were “leaving me somewhat speechless with her length and ability to attack only to be superseded by that mid to long-range game”
Elyse Sellers 5’11 F (Brennan HS)
Sellers is long and athletic, one more time, that’s the base. She has good speed and can shoot the midrange and she stands a shade under the magic number which is 6’0 for those who haven’t been paying attention, pay attention to this one
Viviana Moreno (Brandeis)
Brandeis HS.
Moreno gained a lot of experience playing varsity with a deep Brandeis team. Nice court vision, good 3 point shot but here we go, last year “her game left a lasting impression because she handles the ball under control, under pressure and she scores, under pressure. That change of direction going full speed, the midrange being defended tightly, creating her own shot all were great but that behind the back pass for an assist between two defenders”
Darien Reinagel (O’Connor)
Reinagel is a shooting guard that can shoot lights out from deep. She had a solid freshman season playing the point.
Haleigh Charles (Blanco)
Charles is 5’10” and has raw athleticism but is also very versatile. She plays hard every play, does the little things that are big and c n post up or play big guard and that 3 ball is steadily improving
Meadow Schlinke (Blanco)
Schlinke is another fundamental PG with high BB- IQ, she’s good ball-handler and has shown she’s developing a nice shot from outside
