They made some tremendous strides with their game while competing against some tough teams and some of these players will make immediate impact on their new high school rosters next year, and some will look to come in and get up to speed as fast as they can on rosters packed with talented players.
Let’s take a look at some of the 2024 players that in 2020-21 will enter a new journey in their basketball careers.
Jennifer Altshuler (Erie)
Joining her sister ( Deb Altshuler Deb Altshuler 5'8" | CG Erie | 2022 CO ) at Erie, Jennifer Altshuler would be a great addition to an already talented team. She is a savvy guard that can shoot the ball well from anywhere on the floor and Altshuler shows the ability to put the ball on the deck and attack the rim with great touch. She can handle the ball well, creating opportunities off the dribble for herself or teammates.
Kaylie Whidden (Valor Christian)
Whidden is a fierce competitor, and plays the game with passion. An all-around player that can attack the rim relentlessly, she can score among the best of them. Whidden is a willing shooter and she is looking to extend her shooting range on the court to stretch teams. She shows the ability to make smart reads on the floor and has a great change of pace to her game, making her a tough guard.
Julia Hodell (Holy Family)
Hodell stands at 5-foot-6 and is still growing in size and strength. She has great athleticism and foot speed, which will carry over to the defensive end and in transition. Hodell shows the ability to attack the rim relentlessly and is an able shooter. She has tremendous upside to her game and as she continues to improve, Hodell has a chance to be a contributor for Holy Family.
Alexis Baker (ThunderRidge)
Baker is a player that brings a lot of energy to her team with her effort. She is an able defender with great, active hands, and will look to add a lot of value for ThunderRidge coming in as a freshman. Baker has a high motor and always hustles for the loose ball. Baker will be great in the open court and pushing pace. As she continues to develop her game, she will be a player that will be a tough competitor.
Brynn Price (Roosevelt)
Price is a dynamic and athletic guard with a high motor as well. She shows signs of being an able defender, keeping her player in front and disrupting the flow of opposing offenses. Price is a player that is quick and can get up the floor, making her a threat in the transition game. She could be a key player for Roosevelt as Price continues to add value to her game, and can make an immediate impact for her new team next season.
