Nicole Foster (2021) | Eastern Christian
Foster was a big time scorer for Eastern Christian this season. She scored 14 points per game and led the team by a wide margin with 30 three’s. Foster will be a must watch player in Passaic county next season.
Shannon Harnett (2023) | Lakeland
Harnett did not have much of a scoring role in her first season but she contributed in many other ways. Harnett averaged nearly eight rebounds per game and was near the top of the team in steals and assists. Harnett will take on more of a scoring role whe need be but her prowess on the defensive end cannot be ignored.
Brielle Rodriguez (2021) | Clifton
Rodriguez was Clifton’s leading rebounder with over eight per game. She also led the team in steals with four per contest. Rodriguez is a capable scorer in the post but did her best work on the defensive end. She is a threat on both ends that will continue to grow her offensive game. When she does, she will really take the next step as an eye-opening prospect.
Olivia Weiss (2023) | West Essex
Weiss is the second member of the Class of 2023 on this list. Passaic County is in good hands for the future with these names. Weiss thrived in the lane during her first season. She did well off rebounds and was a fore on the defensive end as well.
Kayla Sampong (2022) | Pompton Lakes
Sampong showed in her second season that she is a valuable player for the future. This is because of her dynamic ability on both ends. Sampong can shoot from deep on one end and come up with a big steal on the other. She is a playmaker on both ends.
