This is going to be a major hit as it will once again help bridge the gap between prospects and college coaches. I previously highlighted four players in the 2021 class who now have videos attached to their profile and that article can be viewed here. Next up is the class of 2022 as we continue to add videos to player’s profiles. The great thing about this feature is prospects of all college levels can have videos embedded into their profile! Click on a player’s profile to check out the new feature.
Prospect: Lauren Glazier Lauren Glazier 6'4" | PF Mt. Si | 2022 State WA
HS: Mount Si
Club: Tree of Hope
Height/Position: 6’4 – Power Forward
Video Linked to Site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo9PjpTolk4
Analysis: A wing/forward more so than a power forward/center. Glazier glides down the floor effortlessly and finishes on the break, oftentimes out running opposing team’s bigs and even guards at times. She has outstanding length to give her versatility on both sides of the ball. A face up player, not a back to the basket four! Capable of stepping out and knocking down the three ball or the short corner jumper. A clear Division 1 prospect that will only get better as she puts it all together.
Prospect: Rosa Smith Rosa Smith 5'7" | PG Lake Washington | 2022 State WA
HS: Lake Washington
Club: EBC
Height/Position: 5’7 – Point Guard
Video Linked to Site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_k98kv4snM
Analysis: The whole skill set is there for Smith. Catch and shoot threes, the ability to get in the lane and finish through contact or with a floater, and she has real point guard handles. Although just a sophomore, the 5’7 point guard looked very confident making big plays at the state tournament. She has a quick release on her shot, allowing her to get it up quickly before defenders can close out. Another Division 1 prospect in the 2022 class.
Prospect: Mia Rodriguez Mia Rodriguez 5'5" | CG Eisenhower | 2022 State WA
HS: Eisenhower
Club: NW Magic
Height/Position: 5’5 – Combo Guard
Video Linked to Site: http://www.hudl.com/v/2DF7yg
Analysis: Lefty guard comfortable playing on or off the ball. Strong with the ball in her hands and very good at making plays for others, as well as for herself. Hits the outside shot, but also protects the ball well and drives to the basket strong, finishing through contact. Heady player that can make something out of nothing due to her play-making ability.
Prospect: Kaimyla Nolen Kaimyla Nolen 5'7" | CG Kentwood | 2022 State WA
HS: Kentwood
Club: Pacific
Height/Position: 5’7 – Combo Guard
Video Linked to Site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpoOghEgaQk
Analysis: Strong combo guard that loves the defensive side of the ball. She is a solid on ball defender, but she especially does damage coming from the help side, gaps and basically any loose ball opportunities. Nolen does a great job of turning defense to offense and she finishes well on the break. A very good finisher around the basket with either hand.
