2023 Sophie Swanson Sophie Swanson 5'10" | SG Barrington | 2023 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Barrington
Swanson is an extremely talented offensive player who played well beyond her years as a Freshman. She’s got an aggressive yet under control style of play that allows her to make a big impact on both ends of the floor. Her jumper from outside is consistently pure and she does a nice job attacking the lane if defenders close-out too aggressively.
2023 Lexi Kerstein Lexi Kerstein 5'7" | PG Deerfield | 2023 State IL , 5’5” Guard, Deerfield
Playing much bigger than 5’5”, Kerstein is constantly giving teams fits with her flashy skills. She consistently plays with an energy that is tough for most players to match for the entirety of a game. Lexi’s ball-handling is top notch and helps her get defenders off-balance, which gives her opportunities to knock down shots off the dribble or get in the lane and be the playmaker that she is.
2021 Maggie Stutelberg Maggie Stutelberg 6'0" | SG Glenbard West | 2021 State IL , 6’0” Guard, Glenbard West
Maggie is a strong off-ball Guard who can handle it well and knock down shots with a lightning quick release. The Western Michigan commit is a high-IQ player who always finds openings so her teammates can find her. She attacks the lane with a purpose and uses her 6’0” frame to finish strong against contact.
2021 Kelsey Dwyer, 6’0” Guard, Stagg
Dwyer is a lengthy Guard who uses a high release to hit shots over defenders. She’s got nice range and plays with tremendous confidence. Kelsey also does a nice job scoring inside, using her body to create enough space so that she can rise up for the shot over interior defenders.
2023 Olivia Baxa, 5’5” Guard, Oak Forest
Olivia is an off-ball Guard who shoots the ball at a high rate from the outside. She has the ‘shooters confidence’ that every coach loves and at times uses that confidence to ball-fake and attack the lane, which she does in a speedy, controlled manner.
2022 Lexi Lamanna, 5’4” Guard, Aurora Christian
Lexi is a talented all-around Point Guard with deep range from three. She’s a speedy ball-handler who excels in transition with terrific court vision and decision-making abilities. Her crazy stat lines show that she is a high-impact player on both ends of the floor.
2022 Mira Schwanke Mira Schwanke 5'11" | SG Fenwick | 2022 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Fenwick
Mira is a Combo Guard who uses her athleticism and length at both ends of the floor. She shot 47% from three and improved her driving and finishing at the hoop throughout her Sophomore season. Defensively, she can guard multiple positions and is more than willing to crash the boards on both ends of the floor.
2021 Kyleigh Block Kyleigh Block 5'7" | CG Villa Grove/Heritage | 2021 State IL , 5’6” Guard, Villa Grove
Block has an impressively consistent shot from deep and converts at a high rate. Her quick release and confidence make her a real threat to hit any shot she takes. Kyleigh also has good strength to score inside and absorb contact from defenders.
2022 Faith Feuerbach Faith Feuerbach 6'0" | SG Sycamore | 2022 State IL , 6’0” Guard, Sycamore
Feuerbach is a strong and athletic player who had a terrific year shooting the ball. She has a nice, high release with a tall arching shot that finds the bottom of the net often. Her size allows her create matchup issues with opposing Guards which she uses to her advantage when driving in the lane. Defensively she can guard multiple positions and uses her long arms to bring down several rebounds per game.
2021 Emma Morrisey, 5’7” Guard, Saint Viator
After missing all of the regular season due to an injury, Emma contributed right away in the postseason, knocking down 15 threes in 4 games, while shooting 46%. Her catch-and-release is clean and quick, which contributes to shooting the ball at such a high percentage.
