2021
Raven Adams Raven Adams 5'7" | PG Ridgepoint | 2021 State TX (Ridgepoint) arguably one of those players that just gets the ball rolling and when you show that you can make those around you better before middle school, that’s a gift. She sees the floor, makes the right passes and understands how to control the tempo, the bonus is her ability to score multiple ways
Jermia Green Jermia Green 5'8" | PG Clear Springs | 2021 State TX (Clear Springs)no one goes as hard as she goes while staying under control any better in the state and when you can hit teammates on the money going 80 in a 60, that’s a gift but the gift that keeps getting better is her ability to overpower guards off the dribble and defensively
Kamari Portalis Kamari Portalis 5'7" | PG Magnolia West | 2021 State TX (Magnolia West) smooth ballhandler and passer yet her ability to stretch the defense is among the best in the city. Good court vision and gets others involved off the top to set the tone which is good because she gets hers in the flow or can just go completely off with the drop of a dime or after dropping dimes
2022
R’Mani Taylor R’Mani Taylor 5'7" | PG Shadow Creek | 2022 State TX (Shadow Creek) when I call you a #D1Lock in the 4th grade watching you dribble, okay maybe the 5th, I can’t remember yet I was right and her maturity was always key, not to mention her NBA range but she’s put together a nice package of point guard skills
2025 2″ first=”Aaliyah” last=”Collins”] (College Station)explosive first step has always been one of her strong points yet she understands the need to get others involved, this helped lead her team to a state semifinal “UIL 5A” and her stop and pop jumper or pushing the ball hitting teammates keeps getting better
Jade Miller Jade Miller 5'6" | PG Manvel | 2022 State TX (Manvel) in the 5th grade, she was playing up and getting beaten yet it didn’t faze her, and hitting a fadeaway 3 to win a game against 8th graders definitely caught my eye Now her eyes are seeing everything as she threads the needle as well as anyone and can score
2023
Dalanna Carter Dalanna Carter 5'6" | PG Barbers Hill | 2023 State #30 Nation TX (Barbers Hill) I have her ranked as the top PG in her class in Texas, ab=nother 4th grader I called a #D1Lock and my record stays intact while she is constantly on the attack but her crossover, zig-zagging through traffic and making unbelievable passes as well as scoring in droves makes her hard to defend
Riley McCloskey Riley McCloskey 5'3" | PG Memorial | 2023 State TX (Memorial) prototype point guard that plays within herself yet at the blink of an eye, she can flip the switch and just go off from mid to long or on the attack. She came in and understood how to run a team as well as a system and that put her in a good position to succeed, it’s not over by any means, she can go
Aniyah Sanford Aniyah Sanford 5'5" | PG Langham Creek | 2023 State TX (Langham Creek) I made a correctable error after watching her come off the bench in the fall league and I said “she made things happen off the bench” well in actuality she started at the one, where the game starts and made her squad one to reckon with. No one works harder or plays smarter, she gets it yet she also gives it with her extended range but in all, she makes the right decisions
