Below is a list of players who competed at the Midwest Madness tournament for Wisconsin Flight Elite . Each one of these players is in the Class of 2022 and are high major recruits. They are such an impressive group to watch play and are extremely stacked. Here is a breakdown of the junior players who stood out.
Aaliyah Smith | 5’7 G | Madison La Follette | Flight Elite
Smith is a 5 star recruit and ranked 97 by ESPN. The number one player in her class for Prep Girls Hoops Wisconsin, Smith can hoop. She’s a walking bucket. She can score in so many ways. She has supreme ball handles and is extremely hard to stop in one on one play. She has range far beyond the arc as well, knocking down three pointers with composure. An unselfish floor general as well, Smith facilitates and finds her open teammates so well. She has tremendous court awareness and craft to her passes.
Emma Krueger Emma Krueger 5'7" | CG Bay Port | 2022 State WI | 5’9 G | Prairie du Chien | Flight Elite
Krahn led her HS squad in both scoring and rebounding this season. An athletic guard who is scrappy and efficient. She has an aggressive attack in the lane and quick release on her shot. She’s a shooter. She averaged 20.9 points per game last season. She will knock it down from anywhere on the floor. She made 50 perimeter baskets for her high school squad this season. Krahn holds offers from Bradley and Milwaukee.
Jordan Meulemans Jordan Meulemans 5'10" | CG De Pere | 2022 State WI | 5’11 G | De Pere | Flight Elite
Meulemans fundamental skills are so sound. She’s a smooth basketball player with a high IQ and understanding of her roles on the team. During the Midwest Madness, the guard excelled at finding her open teammates and finishing in the lane during transition. A quick guard who finds herself pushing the break or grabbing a long pass from her point guard, Meulemans handles the pressure and finishes. She is aggressive attacking the lane and has good footwork and length to score above defenders. She currently holds offers from Creighton, Green Bay, Illinois State, Marquette and Milwaukee.
Emily La Chapell | 5’10 G | Appleton East | Flight Elite
One of the most gifted athletes we will see this summer. She’s ultra athletic on the floor. She gets up and down with ease and has a wonderful combination of height and skill. She is confident with the ball and patient finding her shot. She averaged 16.9 points per game for her HS team. She can attack from the perimeter and is so impressive using her pivot. A quick shooter from the three, La Chapell can knock it down. A solid shot blocker as well, look for La Chapell to become a bigger defensive threat this season. La Chapell holds offers from Utah, Green Bay, Marquette, Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
Jordana Reisma Jordana Reisma 6'2" | SF Brown Deer | 2022 State WI | 5’7 PG | Hortonville | Flight Elite
Peppler is so swaggy with the ball. She has so much confidence with the ball and impacts the game with her ability to handle. Her handles are clean and precise. She uses a quick hesitation dribble before finishing strong on her attack. She’s super aggressive and creates her own shot on the perimeter. A pure playmaker for her Flight Elite squad, Peppler excels at her passing. She is beyond talented in finding her open teammates and uses multiple crafty passes . Her quick bounce passes in transition are hard to defend and very effective. She is committed to UW Milwaukee.
