Anaya Brown Anaya Brown 6'0" | C Lafayette | 2022 State KY , Lafayette – Brown averaged a double double in her Sophomore season and her best basketball is still ahead of her. Scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds is impressive but if she can improve her shooting efficiency this season (especially from behind the three point line) then Brown could be closer to an 18-20 point per game scorer next year.
Anastasia Dowlen Anastasia Dowlen 6'1" | C Russellville | 2022 State KY , Russellville – Dowlen could be the best rebounder in the state. She’s almost definitely the best rebounder in the 2022 class. Her best chance for her game to reach the next level is to develop her offensive game and become a threat on both ends of the court. Anastasia should be an impact player in the 4th region for the next two seasons.
Sereniti Webb Sereniti Webb 6'0" | PF Simon Kenton | 2022 State KY , Simon Kenton – Serenti is actually a pretty polished scorer and could help her recruiting going forward if she becomes a more active rebounder. Webb is likely to carry a heavier offensive burden next season but Simon Kenton intends to keep building on this season’s success when they won a region-high 27 games. She could be in contention for region player of the year next season if she can increase her rebounding and protect the rim with a few blocks per game.
Gracie Merkle Gracie Merkle 6'6" | C Bullitt East | 2022 State KY , Bullitt East – I believe that Gracie is the tallest girls player in the state at 6’5 and her potential is very high for that reason. Bullitt East is going to be a top contender in the state in 2021 and Merkle could be the difference maker. One of the top percentage shooters in the state at 64% from the field, if Merkle can become a more active rebounder, that could put her recruiting to another level as well.
