Key Players:
Weir – one of the state’s most physically imposing players – is progressing rapidly. She is a sure-fire D1 prospect with nice touch around the rim and high shot-blocking ability. As she is maturing – Jordan is becoming tougher and tougher to spot when she gets her hands on the ball near the basket.
Smith is an athletic forward who is capable of scoring over both shoulders from the post, while also taking slower defenders off of the dribble with a mid-range face-up game. She is a good rebounder who runs the floor well.
Schill, a key contributor at Akron Hoban, is a tough kid. Grace can defend the 1-4 positions successfully, while also impacting the game as a rebounder on both ends of the floor. She plays in the point-forward mold offensively, attacking the paint and creating plays for teammates when given the opportunity as a driver.
Guilliams is a dead-eye shooter with a quick release and range well behind the 3-point line. She is effective in the mid-range in 1 or 2 dribble situations and is becoming better as a rim-attacker.
