Seven of the roster’s 11 players were either first, second, or third-team all-W.Va. last season, led by Victoria Sturm Victoria Sturm 5'9" | SF Robert C. Byrd | 2021 State WV of Lincoln.
Sturm, daughter of head coach David Sturm, was first-team Class AA for Lincoln after averaging 17.2 points per game as a junior and locking down opposing teams’ top offensive threats.
She is the No. 15 ranked player in W.Va’s Class of 2021 and joined by the No. 16 in Cabell-Midland’s Autumn Lewis Autumn Lewis 6'0" | SF Cabell Midland | 2021 State WV .
Lewis recently added to her growing offer list when new MEC member WVU Tech extended an offer to the Knights’ incoming senior.
Eight of Coach Sturm’s players are currently ranked amongst the state’s best by PGH.
The team will look to equal last season’s success when the Swish captured the championship at the Teammate Basketball national championships in Pigeon Forge, one of two Swish teams to do so.

Players to Watch
Karlie Denham Karlie Denham 5'6" | CG North Marion | 2021 State WV – Point guard and an extremely quick player who plays both ends of the court with a high motor. Karlie is a tough competitor and rises to the situation.
Victoria Sturm Victoria Sturm 5'9" | SF Robert C. Byrd | 2021 State WV – Excellent defender who plays with a lot of passion and is a very physical guard that can play bigger when needed. Typically defends the other team’s best offensive player and average nearly 17 ppg in her high school season.
Reagan Blasher Reagan Blasher 5'4" | CG Fairmont Senior | 2022 State WV – Reagan was hurt through a portion of the high school season, but she is a sharpshooter and skilled offensive player.
Olivia Austin – Can play point while also having the ability to bring defensive energy into any game.
Shelby McDaniels Shelby McDaniels 5'5" | CG Buckhannon-Upshur | 2022 State WV – Very skilled player and tough competitor, who will make a key offensive play when needed and is a stopper on defense.
Paige Humble – Paige is a strong young lady who is tough around the basket and in the paint. She’s also worked hard to expand her range offensively.
Meredith Maier Meredith Maier 6'0" | PF Fairmont Senior | 2022 State WV – Meredith is a hard worker and has the size and skill to be an outstanding player. Meredith can run the point, then post up and that makes her a tough matchup for most players.
Autumn Lewis Autumn Lewis 6'0" | SF Cabell Midland | 2021 State WV – Autumn was a leader for Cabell Midland this season and is a hardworking, talented player who keeps getting better. Autumn also can score in the paint, then turn around and hit a three-pointer the next possession.
Katlyn Carson Katlyn Carson 5'10" | C North Marion | 2022 State WV – Katlyn is a strong force in the paint and will rebound and block shots with the skill of someone much taller. Additionally, Katlyn has started to develop her offensive game this season and will be a strong force over the next two seasons.
Bekah Jenkins – A smooth offensive player that can score in a number of ways.
Avonna Brown – Avonna is extremely quick and a tough defender that runs the floor very well. She is also quickly improving at driving to the basket and developing her perimeter game.
