Skill level was not sacrificed for size, however, as roster-wide ability to handle the ball and attack off the dribble is apparent.
The team possesses a high basketball IQ across the board with the ability to score at each level.
Physical play was an area of concern but it’s being addressed and returning players are becoming more aggressive while the new additions will add some muscle.
COVID-19 played havoc with the team’s original travel plans. Finally getting underway this weekend at the BSA Adidas National Tip-Off in Pittsburgh.

Emma Freels – Long, lean point guard. Terrific with the ball. High basketball IQ and makes great decisions with the ball. Best when attacking gaps and penetrating defense. She can shoot from range.
Ashlyn Weaver – Sharpshooter. A catch-and-shoot guard. Becoming more comfortable attacking off the dribble. Underrated on-ball defender. Working to become more aggressive.
Sofia Wassick – Scoring point guard. Creator and operator on the floor. Controls the speed and pace of the game. Able to finish in traffic and shoot with range. A true competitor and winner.
Emma Howell – Stretch Forward. Catch and shoot first. She Can see the play ahead of the action. Always in the right place at the right time. Solid defender. One of the team’s best rebounders, even at 5-7.
Kaley Rohanna – Swiss army knife type player. She can shoot, handle the ball, and finish at the rim. Athletic and strong guard in a small package. A bulldog on defense. Great teammate. Unselfish.
Emily Anderson – Athletic wing with length on the perimeter. Strongest when attacking the rim. Can shoot midrange. She continues to learn how to play more aggressively. High ceiling.
Emma Pinkney – Good size with great mobility. Hands and feet like a guard in a post’s body. Has touch from midrange. Constantly growing as a post player in positioning and finishing.
Ella Simpson – Undersized wing. Plays bigger than measures. Aggressive on both ends of the floor. Becoming more comfortable on the perimeter. Natural ability to make a play on the ball.
Zaniah Zellous – Long, athletic wing. Attacks the rim off the dribble. Has the ability to shoot with range. Shrinks the floor with length on defense. Rim protector with length and athleticism. Can play baseline to baseline.
Kathryn Carson – Inside out player. She can play physical and aggressive on the interior. Has the ability to shoot from distance. Shows maturity and great potential playing up in age.
