Braelyn Davis, Metcalfe County- A playmaking point guard, 3 point shooting is one of many weapons in Davis’s arsenal. Knocking down 2.5 shots from deep at an elite 42.8% clip, that weapon certainly brings a lot of firepower. The rising junior is then able to use the threat of her 3 point shot to set up her drives and distribution, making her any even better playmaker.
Tania Woodall, Bryan Station- More of a volume shooter than others on this list, Woodall nonetheless showed that the ability to knock down some 3s as part of her many skills. The rising junior made 2.4 deep balls per game in addition to strong passing and rebounding skills. If she can improve on a less than stellar 29.4% shooting it can become and even bigger part of her complete game.
Haley Dillman Haley Dillman 5'9" | SG Bullitt Central | 2023 State KY , Bullitt Central- Along with her actual shooting skills, Dillman has showcased the ability to continually get open for 3 as well as knocking them down. She uses screens, vision, and excellent floor spacing to consistently find open shots, and is not afraid to pass rather than force a bad shot. This led 2.5 made 3s per game on 33.9% shooting, making her the top shooter in the class of 2023.
Josie Aull, Trinity (Whitesville)- Strong 3 point shooters become even more valuable when they also excel on defense, making the 3 and D players, an even more valuable commodity. Aull has shown the ability to be a truly elite 3 and D player, knocking down 2.4 shots from beyond the arc at a 34.8% clip to go along with plenty of playmaking on the defensive end. If she can further develop these and the rest of her skills, look for Aull to be even more of a threat going forward.
