Alexa Therien Alexa Therien 6'1" | SF Cherokee | 2021 State NJ (2022) | Cherokee
Cherokee had a monster season with 30 wins and their dynamic sophomore was a huge part. Therien has quickly turned into one of the top players and prospects in New Jersey. She scored 15.4 points per game and got to the free throw line at a high rate. Therien has quick feet and strong hands on both ends. She can score with her back to the basket or off put backs.
Elizabeth Shover (2021) | Palmyra
Shover was one of the top shot blockers in the county with 115 total and an average of nearly four per game. She was one of the top scorers on Palmyra and proved to be a big time playmaker. Shover could score in the lane or on the block using her finesse game.
Nia Scott (2023) | Shawnee
Shawnee has their next great player in Scott. She showed this during her freshman year. Scott led the team in blocks and was called upon on the offensive end quite a bit. This is a good game plan given her prowess scoring the ball.
Dominique Barnes (2021) | Burlington City
Barnes showed to be a true stretch four. She has great size and can score at will down low but also stray out to the three-point line. She finished with 24 made three’s. Barnes has a soft touch from the outside and can rebound effectively on both ends.
Kiersten Kennedy (2022) | Delran
Kennedy emerged as a star in her sophomore year. Delran has a forward that can take over games for the next two years. Kennedy led the tea in rebounding and was second in steals and blocks. She is a duel-threat post player with a wide array of skills and moves.
Haley Phalines (2021) | Kingsway
Phalines made a name for herself in Burlington County as a strong presence in the middle. She led Kingsway in rebounding and was one of the top rim protectors in the area. She will take the next step with her offensive game as a senior but the rest of her game is polished and ready.
