Our Top 2020 Post in California is none other than, Eleanor Roosevelt HS (Riverside), Ugonne Onyiah Ugonne Onyiah 6'3" | PF Eleanor Roosevelt | 2020 State CA the dominant post presence for the Mustangs. Ugonne plays for the Cal Sparks 17U EYBL team and is a major force for them in the paint and is doing a good job on the EYBL circuit. Here are some of her statistics from the EYBL circuit for the #1 Stop in Hampton, Virginia at the Boo Williams Facility; Ugonne Onyiah Ugonne Onyiah 6'3" | PF Eleanor Roosevelt | 2020 State CA Stats
Ugonne is a gentle giant in many of the writers opinions, but she is one of the most hardest working post in the business. She dives for balls, she blocks shots and attacks the rim with vengeance. Standing at 6’3, she is big and long with a D1 body on her already, athleticism is present and she is skilled in the paint. We wish her well for the rest of the club season and bet she will be more productive for the Cal Sparks in her play. For that reason, she is debuted at #1 spot for our PGH California rankings.

I would like to introduce you to our PGH Top 2020 Wing in California and her name is Alexis Whitfield Alexis Whitfield 6'2" | SF Chaminade Prep | 2020 State CA of Chaminade Prep. She stands 6’2 and is a sort of phenomenon on the floor, she is what now days we would call a player, “Point-Forward”. The reason for that name is because she is capable of handling the ball from the point guard position in the game as well as dominate you in the post too. She is a threat to score with every touch and Alexis is probably one of the most humbled girls on the floor. I watched her performance at the Girls CIFSS Division I Championships in March and these were her stat lines: Alexis Whitfield Alexis Whitfield 6'2" | SF Chaminade Prep | 2020 State CA with 24pts, 25rebs, 4asts and 4blks in a win to seal the Championship for her team over MLKing from Riverside.
POINT GUARD
That person is 2020, 5’9, PG, Flintridge Prep, Kaitlyn Chen Kaitlyn Chen 5'8" | PG Flintridge Prep | 2020 State CA who plays for Cal Storm Team Taurasi. We have seen her about five times this year and she has performed to her best with a complete game each and every time. She is aggressive on the floor, always in attack mode, she has a very decent handle and can use both hands to attack her opponent, which makes her very dangerous with the ball in her hands. She is athletic, quick, crafty and a solid shooter from all three levels, she can get to the rim off the dribble, pull up on a dime and knock down the shot or hit you with the long three ball off the bounce or catch. These traits are what put her on the top of the point guard list in California for us, it was not even close, our committee was unanimous in its findings. We will talk with Kaitlyn this weekend and get the scoop on who is recruiting her, who does she work with on skills development and also, what give her the confidence to play so strong each and every time she is on the floor.
