Director and Head Coach Tevonte Harris started with this group dating back to when they were in 6th grade under a different name, but they now go under the title “Lady Ballers”. This group has a lot players that are mostly under the radar, but are working to become more known statewide and beyond. The Tri-Cities and Central Washington in general regularly has under the radar college prospects and it is a great region for colleges of different levels to be tapped in to.
Lader Ballers Roster:
2023 5’2 PG Zaylei Mccord (Toppenish HS) – Zaylei is a pass first point guard who excels at setting her teammates up in the open court. A smaller point guard, but a passionate floor general.
2023 5’9 SG Alvina Meninick (Toppenish HS)- Excels at creating her own shot and being able to knock down the open 3. Alvina will be a second year varsity player who is expected to play big minutes this season.
2024 5’4 PG Keira Hawkins (Southridge HS) – Keira (Keke) Hawkins is a crafty ball handler who can get to the rim at will and is a great 3 point shooter. Keke is expected to come in and play very valuable minutes and give her team another scoring option.
2024 5’7 CG Alexis Gomez (Prosser HS) – Sharpshooter who can shoot from anywhere on the floor. Capable of defending multiple positions on the court.
2024 5’8 SF Dajiah stell (Pasco HS)- An athletic Wing who can play all over the court. Dajiah excels at getting steals in the open floor and finishing in traffic.
2024 5’10 PF Kendall Meyer (Handford HS) – Kendall has great footwork in the paint but also can stretch the floor. Kendall is capable of play 3-5 at the high school level due to her length and great foot speed.
2024 5’6 CG Ayana Gallerios (Eisenhower HS) – A crafty guard who can create her own shot anywhere on the floor. A consistent three point shooter.
2025 5’6 CG Nehka Roehl (Prosser HS) – Nehka can get to the rim at will but can also knock down a consistent 3 ball. Nehka also is a great defender and takes pride on that side of the ball. Although just an 8th grader, she is an impact player on this team and plans on attending Prosser High School when the time comes.
Coach’s Outlook:
“This team is very athletic and can compete with some of the best if they keep improving how they’ve been doing over the years. We’re a defensive team that likes to get out in transition. This group will be playing up and regularly competing in the 16u Division 1 brackets.” – Tevonte Harris
