Player to Watch:
Lexie Moore Lexie Moore 5'9" | SG Owen County | 2022 State KY . One of the best players that probably doesn’t get enough respect statewide, Moore is more than just a scorer. She’s an above average shooter and a great rebounder for her position. Lexie does a little bit of everything to help her team win and could rack up lots of offers if coaches get the chance to see her play this summer and in her Senior season.
X Factor:
Selena Granado. Granado rarely gets the amount of praise that many of her Bullitt East teammates do but they would not have won the 6th region championship without Selena’s steady hand at the point guard spot. She’s already earned scholarship offers from IU-East and IU-Southeast but D2 and NAIA schools should have her on the radar moving forward.
Potential Surprise:
Rory O’ Hara. While her Junior season statistics were modest at only 7 points per game, Rory is expected to shine this summer and next season as she becomes the go to scorer for the Bluebirds. O’Hara already has scholarship offers from Florida Southern College, Crowley’s Ridge College, Rochester University, Union College and Oakland City University. Bigger offers may not be far off.
