A super talented squad that will be very exciting to watch this summer. This team is the best 2023 team you’ll see out of Wisconsin this summer. Each one of these players are workhorses, playing with so much intensity every minute on the floor. As a squad, they have a great combination of height and skill. Look for them to push the ball in transition, led by one of the fastest guards Wisconsin has to offer in Avree Antony Avree Antony 5'10" | SG Sun Prarie | 2023 State WI . With so many talented prospects on this roster, it will be difficult for other teams to shut down scorers.

Key Players to Watch:
1. Kyla Dunaway | 6’3 C | Kimberly HS
Dunaway is a player with such a high ceiling. She has great positional size and athleticism which bodes well for her upside at the next level. She will impact this Let it Rain squad in so many ways. She can knock down the perimeter shot and has soft hands on her shot. She has developed her mid-range game and can knock those down as well. She works well with her guards off “pick and roll” like situations. A strong interior defender for LIR as well. Look for her to add some confidence to her shot blocking selection this summer. She currently holds an offer from UW Green Bay.
2. Teagan Mallegni | 5’11 F | McFarland HS
Mallegni is a player to keep an eye on, as she is just scratching the surface but is a name many already know. A gifted athlete who has incredible size and skill already for her age. She is Class of 2024 but fits in right with this squad. She too will knock down the perimeter shot. Her frame has room to add muscle and strength, but that will surely come within the next few years. She has explosive handles for her height that will allow her to blow by defenders easily.
3. Avree Antony Avree Antony 5'10" | SG Sun Prarie | 2023 State WI | 5’9 CG | Sun Prairie HS
A crazy athletic guard who has so much gas in the tank. Antony works so hard on both ends and is relentless for her team. A true competitor, Antony is a team leader on and off the bench. She has an explosive first step and strong attack to the basket. She’s a triple threat on offense, knocking down three pointers, attacking the lane and pulling up mid-range. Antony has been improving her ball handling skills and I’d look for her to run the show for this LIR team. On defense, Antony gets the job done. The CG wants to guard the opposing team’s best player and is an in your face defender. Currently holds an offer from Illinois State and interest from multiple other D1 schools.
4. Ellie Magestro- Kennedy | 5’7 PG | Janesville Craig HS
Pure point guard. Floor general for her team. Sets up others by penetrating gaps and kicking to open shooters after drawing help. Knocked down 5 three point baskets against 1on1 Milwaukee 2022 on Saturday. Strokes the 3 with great consistency. Efficient scorer for this Let it Rain squad. Also, tenacious on the ball defender. Maestro- Kennedy is described as “fearless” by her coach.
5. MaKenzie Drout | 5’8 CG | Kimberly HS
Drout is a very talented combo guards and arguable one of the best in her position in her class. She can run the point or play the 2 spot. She has uncanny ability to score in the paint for a player her size. Great footwork and a crafty array of unorthodox moves to get shots off clean in traffic. Also rebounds and shoots the 3 well. Intense and always working on the floor.
6. Abbie Dix Abbie Dix 5'11" | PF Brodhead | 2023 WI | 5’11 F | Brodhead HS
Dix has a great feel for the game and knows her role and spots on the floor. She moves well without the ball and works with her teammates to get the open shot. She has quick foot speed that enables Dix to easily beat her defender to the basket with a straight line drive. It also allows her to end well on the perimeter and recover if beaten off the dribble. She has great size and uses her body well inside. A rebounding specialist, Dix will be the go-to player for rebound put backs. Super comfortable playing inside the lane but can also impact the game in a five out offense.
