Below is a list of stand out prospects that compete for the Wisconsin Blaze Black team.
Alana Zarneke | 5’10 SG | Appleton North 2023
Zarneke is just scratching the surface as a SG for Appleton North but will be a game changer on her Wisconsin Blaze squad. She does a great job of following her shot consistently and looks for offensive rebounds often. She plays with a lot of heart, energy and toughness on the court. Her ball handling has improved greatly and she should be able to hold her own on the perimeter this summer. She shows ample versatility as she could play on the wing, sit down low or even run the offense for this Blaze team.
Jenna Shae | 5’10 PG | Kimberly 2023
A tremendous ball handler and smart point guard, she pounds the ball and always has her head up. Great fluidity with the ball. Has tremendous upside on such a competitive and talented Kimberly squad. Can finish strong at the rim and is surprisingly good at finishing through contact despite her slender frame. Passing skills, especially in transition, are well developed. She will be an ample player maker at the varsity level. She has shown a steady perimeter shot as well. Active hands on defense.
Kierstin Kriewaldt | 5’10 SG | Freedom 2023
A smooth, versatile wing that is a phenomenal facilitator. Her ability to create for her teammates and dish the ball to the open player is very impressive for her size. She makes the right pass in the fast break and does not force opportunities. She is great at reacting to the defense and making the correct read. This will help her a lot next year at Freedom with the intensified defense at the varsity level. She can also play with poise in the lane, shown by her repertoire of counter moves. She is also seen to be mid-range effective.
Sadie Jarmolowicz | 5’8 PG | Freedom 2023
A prospective talent that has really improved at a quick rate. Hoping she maintains that pace, Jarmolowicz will be a great point guard for Freedom. She is a quick but calculated point guard. Her ability to fake out defenders is elite. Change of pace is noticeable in Jarmolowicz game, she does well transitioning from high to low and slow to fast. She has an explosive push dribble as well.
Trinity Mocadio | 5’8 SG | Hortonville 2023
A scoring guard that simply has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop. She has the ability to be a consistent force on the offensive end. She can be savvy in the lane and is able to wiggle through defense. She has a good shot off the dribble and has shown instances of having a long range. She handles pressure well and is not easily flustered by defenders or a hand in her face on the shot.
Felicity (City) Figlinski | 5’8 PG | Appleton West 2023
City is a dynamic lead guard that can score and facilitate well for her team. She has a tight handle on the ball, which allows her to always be in control of the situation. Specifically, her hesitation move and float dribbles are very advanced, allowing her to put the defender on her heels frequently. City has a quick burst of speed that can easily get her past the defender. She rarely gives up her dribble, even when heavily pressured.
