They are led by one of the most exciting players that I have probably ever seen in Darianna Littlepage-Buggs Darianna Littlepage-Buggs 6'1" | SF Classen SAS | 2022 State #24 Nation OK . A dynamic duo at Norman High is in the top-5 of our 2022 rankings. There are also a lot of small school athletes who lead the state in different statistical categories and will definitely be drawing interest from college coaches. Here is a list of the top 2022 players in and around Oklahoma City.

Darianna’s Twitter feed is full of videos. Almost none of them are of her. She highlights her teammates on her timeline and it says a lot about the type of player that she is. She could be an absolutely dominant high school player if she chose to touch the ball every possession or let the passing end with her. Just like her feed that highlights everyone else before her, she does not choose to play like that. In two years of high school basketball she has scored a total of 732 points. If she weren’t such a good teammate, this number could easily be close to 1,500. Whichever outstanding college coach lands a commitment from her will no doubt maximize her abilities and she will realize how special she truly is. Littlepage-Buggs could be the best to ever come out of Oklahoma. Only time will tell. She currently holds offers from many top schools including Oklahoma, Ole Miss and UNC.
Myka Perry Myka Perry 5'10" | CG Norman | 2022 State OK | 5-10 G | Norman | @MykaPerry
Mikayla Parks Mikayla Parks 5'8" | SG Norman | 2022 State OK | 5-8 G | Norman | @MikaylaParks12
Norman is absolutely loaded with talent. These two talented rising juniors will make them state title favorites for the next two years. Both players bring their own unique skills to the team and make them an absolute powerhouse. Perry probably has the best handles in the state. She also averaged 10 points per game last season. Parks is a very smart player; the daughter of a coach. She is a very good scorer who defends well, on and off the ball. Last season Parks averaged 10.3 points per game.
Sydney Duncan Sydney Duncan 6'0" | SG Oklahoma Christian Academy | 2022 State OK | 6-1 G | Oklahoma Christian
Duncan is an absolute beast. She is very tall for a guard and prefers to play outside the arc, making it almost impossible to block her shot. She made 81 three-pointers last season while shooting 33% from behind the arc. She led all OKC area scorers with 17.8 points per game. The other parts of her game are catching up to her shooting as she matures and plays more and more basketball. By 2022, Duncan is going to be an absolute handful for any team that faces off with OCA.
Lauryn Scalice | 5-9 G | Bethany | @lauryn_scalice
In my notes, I wrote that Scalice is an “absolute baller.” Sometimes a player stands out because they just know how to put the ball in the basket in any situation. Lauryn absolutely finds a way. She can shoot from deep. She drives hard to the hoop with a nice little floater, often drawing contact and a foul. She is quick off the ball and finds position for a good look when she receives the pass. Her defense is probably the best the Bronchos have and she relishes the one-on-one battle. Scalice had a 41 point game this season and averaged 15.2 ppg while shooting almost 40% from the field. Scalice has already had an unofficial visit to Abilene Christian and should see more visits and offers coming her way very soon.
