Elite Nation Basketball is a unique collection of players. They have forwards that can stretch the floor and guards that will battle for boards under the rim. They are a collection of players that have proven themselves over the years and are very hungry to play against tough competition.
ROSTER
Emily Cline Emily Cline SF Eaton Rapids | 2021 State MI (2021, Wing, Eaton Rapids)
“Emily is an energize bunny. She has a motor that never stops. Not only does she score, rebound, steal the ball and block shots…but she does all the little things that rarely show up in the stat lines. Emily is committed to Aquinas College to further her education and her athletic career for basketball and softball.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
McKenna Couchenour (2021, G, Mason)
“McKenna is a defensive and 3 point specialist. She is a very aggressive rebounder, often asked to match up against the other team’s top guard. She shoots a high percentage behind the arc as well.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Ashley Baker (2021, G, Mason)
“Ahley is a speedster. Her high gear motor allows her to get up and down the court quickly to defend against fast breaks by our opponents. She is also a very good facilitator of the basketball and is always looking to set up her teammates with quality scoring opportunites.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Jaqueline “J” Semerly (2021, SG, Okemos)
“J is a flat out SHOOTER. A 3 point assassin who can also hit the mid range jumper at a high rate. She is also a lockdown defender. Oftentimes, stealing the ball at the perimeter and heading the other way for a layup.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Jordyn Byrd (2022, G, Lansing Waverly)
“New to ENB this year, Jordyn has fit in nicely with this team. She has found her role quickly as a vacuum on the offensive and defensive glass. Often resulting in second chance baskets for herself and this team. She is also a tough defender and a player that can get to the basket when she sees the opportunity.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Allie Mayes Allie Mayes CG East Lansing | 2021 State MI (2021, G, East Lansing)
“Ally is incredibly versatile for her size. She can hit the outside jumper or weave her way through the bigs and attack the basket at any time. She is a great defender at any position with a super high basketball IQ and is a playmaker who always seems to make the right pass.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Isabel Reemsnyder Isabel Reemsnyder PF Mason | 2021 State MI (2021, F, Mason)
“Often called a ‘swiss army knife’ for her ability to play inside or out on both ends of the court. Her footwork, passing, and ability to finish in the paint maker her tough to defend. She can also slip out and hit the long range shot at any time. Her high basketball IQ and vocal leadership brings a “coach on the court’ aspect to this team.”
– Coach Amanda Stenz
Darby Lienerth (2022, G, Eaton Rapids)
“Darby is an ENB newcomer this season. Her confidence in her abilities really show on the court. A very high energy, scrappy guard who seems to be all over the court. She gives us some much needed depth at the point guard position.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Brynn Reams (2022, F, Ionia)
“This lefty is a beast in the paint. Not afraid to put a body on someone on either end of the court. Great at finishing at the basket and blocking shots, but can also slip out for an outside jumper when she sees the opportunity.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
Ella Barker (2021, G, Holt)
“Ella is a scrappy, tough guard. Great lockdown defender who will often steal the ball at the perimeter and head the other way for an easy layup. Not only can she shoot from the outside, but she isn’t afraid to attack the basket and finish at a high percentage.” – Coach Amanda Stenz
TEAM STRENGTHS
“We are a very humble team. Although we have some of the most decorated Lansing area athletes, not one of our girls believes that they are better than or deserve anything more than anyone else. It has been about the team and the ENB family from the day we started this and the same is true today. We have a hard working group that love being around each other on and off the court.”
“There isn’t just 1 player or 1 thing on the offensive end that opponents can take away and be successful. We have bodies that can be physical in the paint, versatile athletes that can attack off the dribble, and many players that can hit shots from the outside. Defensively, the girls are scrappy and great communicators. The girls take pride in making it tough for an opponent to score at the basket.”

COACH’S QUOTE
“This season is all about making one last run together and capping off the unbelievable journey many of our outstanding young ladies and families began 5 years ago when we put this independant team together. Most of our girls were overlooked by their previous clubs in the beginning. Since then, they have become some of the top student-athletes in the greater Lansing, Michigan area on the court and in their communities.”
“We are extremely thankful to have an opportunity to complete this travel season during these uncertain times. Through hard work and dedication to the game, our girls have made a name for themselves as local high school athletes. Since we are an independent travel team, in recent years many programs at the next level have known very little about us. Now that our girls are on their radars, many collegiate coaches want to see our girls compete against other top talent. This summer will now offer our girls the ability to showcase the qualities they bring to their current programs and an opportunity to continue chasing their dreams of being collegiate student-athletes.”
“All of them could have made the decision to move on to a more well known club, made a huge impact for them and recieved way more attention for how talented they are. Instead, they have made the choice to stay loyal to one another…learn, play, and grow together over the years. The greatest opportunity this season will bring us is that we will have the chance to practice, sweat, travel, laugh, cry, compete, and make memories together on one last summer run. We have always been more than just a group of high character, talented basketball players. We are an ENB Family now and forever.”
