Eastern Washington Gets In-State Commitment
Eastern Washington University had an outstanding 2020 class with multiple highly ranked in-state players. The Eagles have kept the momentum rolling with the 2021 class with a big commitment from Lewis and Clark High School’s Andie Zylak Andie Zylak 5'7" | PG Lewis and Clark | 2021 State WA . The 5’7 point guard is a standout player in the Greater Spokane League and a huge get for the Eagles who have made a real effort to keep Washington kids home and specifically kids on the east side of the mountains. Zylak has a good handle, plays with great energy and can shoot off the bounce. She is coachable and plays with great passion on the floor. A member of the Spokane Sandpipers club program, Zylak ranks as the number 17 overall prospect and number three point guard in Washington’s 2021 class.
First Offer For 2022 Prospect
Offers have steadily been rolling in for members of the 2022 class and 6’2 power forward Cori Wilcox Cori Wilcox 6'2" | PF Lake Stevens | 2022 State WA has joined the party. The Lake Stevens High School standout is one of the state’s most physical and aggressive post players who excels as a rebounder and inside presence on both sides of the ball. Wilcox received her offer from Lafayette College of the Patriot League. She plays her club ball for the Northwest Blazers and ranks as the number 10 overall prospect and number two power forward in Washington’s 2022 class.
Boise State Offers 2021 Shooting Guard
Boise State always does an outstanding job recruiting in the Northwest region and they are working to ensure they get another NW kid with their latest offer to 2021 5’8 shooting guard, Linsey Lovrovich Linsey Lovrovich 5'9" | SG Peninsula | 2021 State WA . A bouncy athlete with a high ceiling, Lovrovich will only get better with time and she has Division 1 level athleticism and an above average skill set to match. She currently ranks as the number 10 shooting guard in Washington’s 2021 class and figures to move up in the next rankings update.
