The class of 2022 augments the game to the next level, and are well-appointed enough to carry a team during their senior year. Juniors have a big passion for the game and are always ready to take their team to the top, and that energy is even more intense during their Senior year.
Below is a list of Juniors that are ready to take on their Senior year and lead their teams to success:
Rose Morse- 2021, 5”8’, PG & SG, #30, Las Lomas High School(Walnut Creek, CA)
I have definitely mentioned Rose Morse before, and she is worth mentioning more than once. She is a stellar Junior with a lot in store for her future. As discussed before she averages 22.1 PPG, with a total of 420 points for the 2019-2020 season, and this is very impressive. Her field goal percentage is 46%, and rightfully so. She has scored 39 3-pointers during this past season. If you want to know something else that is impressive about Rose, her free throw shooting form is remarkable. Her free-throw percentage is well above average at 74%. I’ve said this before, and I will say it again, free-throws win games. They are important if you ware shooting clutch free-throws in the last seconds of a close game. Rose is always looking for an open teammate and is very unselfish. Her ability to drive to the basket so easily really shows how much she works on her game outside of games. Rose Morse is an aggressive player that should not be overlooked.
Kendra Grant- 2021, 5”8’, PG & SG, #24, Dublin High School (Dublin, CA)
Another player I have mentioned in the past, Kendra Grant, is another player that deserves much recognition for her game. Kendra is intense, fast, quick, and has a great basketball IQ. You can tell her teammates trust her with the ball, and Kendra also trusts her teammates. Kendra cuts to the basket more than I see most players do, and her teammates are always looking for her. With her on the court, her team has great chemistry. Kendra averages 17.6 PPG, with a total of 422 points to date for the 2019-2020 season. With a field goal percentage of 50% and a free-throw percentage of 74%, you can just tell by her statistics that her shooting ability is amazing. Kendra is one of the most athletic Juniors out there, and it shows. She can score and steal with ease and is constantly in stealth mode. Kendra Grant is a player that we need to look out for during her Senior season.
Keana Tulod- 2021, 5”7’, PG & SG, #20, De Anza High School (El Sobrante, CA)
Now on to players that I have not talked about previously, who I believe should really be recognized amongst other scouts, Keana Tulod. Keana Tulod of De Anza High School in El Sobrante, CA brings a lot to the table. Her dribbling skills really stand out, and she is quick enough to dribble past any defender. She is an unselfish teammate that is always looking to create opportunities for her team on the court. Tulod makes phenomenal passes down the court, especially on the fast break. Keana averages 12.1 PPG and has scored a total of 206 points to date for the 2019-2020 season. Her free-throw percentage soars high at 74%. I can guarantee you that Keana will come to play her senior year with a lot of fire in her. You can tell she is ready to make a difference during her last season, she has a lot of passion for the game. Keana Tulod is a player that plays with everything she has, and it’s something that not should be overlooked.
Jasmine Farmer- 2021, 5”7’, Forward, #11, Saint Mary’s High School (Albany, CA)
Let me just put this out there, Jasmine Farmer’s passing ability is incredible. There are not many players out there that can pass as she does. Farmer is very quick to look for an open player, and her passes are so quick they are barely noticed by the defenders, even the people in the audience won’t see it coming. Jasmine is a really great teammate that hypes her teammates up whenever no matter what kind of play they make. Jasmine averages 10.1 PPG, with a total of 314 points to date for the 2019-2020 season, and averages 6.5 rebounds per game. Jasmine works hard for rebounds as you can tell by her statistics, she is always boxing out if she is near the basket and a shot goes up. She is a very physical player, Farmer has a great awareness of the court, and she makes very smart decisions with the ball. The last thing we should mention is that her ability to dribble and penetrate is outstanding. Jasmine is a very solid basketball player, and can really do well in all positions.
Ava Grey- 2021, Guard, #20, Lick-Wilmerding High School (San Francisco, CA)
If you haven’t heard about Ava Grey, you to check this player out ASAP. This girl can dribble, her skills are quite amazing. Grey has a very quick release on her jump shot and has a great arc to it as well. Grey is accompanied by none other than sophomore Annabel Schneiberg, the ultimate dynamic duo I must say. With these two players on a team, their team can be invincible. Ava averages 10.1 PPG, with a total of 303 points for the 2019-2020 season, while also averaging 4.2 RPG. Grey acquires unstoppable moves to the basket and finishes gracefully each time. Her ability to drive to the basket and score is sensational. Ava Grey is an exceptional basketball player and will be very successful during her senior season. I’m excited to see what Ava Grey brings to the table.
