This is a talented group of sophomore from SE Ohio who continue to grow their game!
Kara Meeks, 5-11 Albany Alexander
Solid smaller post who does a good job sealing her opponent, good hands and able to create a shot in the paint. Moves well around the basket, strong on the boards, secure the rebound. Able to put the ball on the floor and penetrate to the rim.
Kaleigh Murphy, 5-10 Coal Grove
Anticipates well on the court defensively, can read and react well and forces turnovers. Long and athletic, handles herself well both inside and out, good shot blocker. Good handles, aggressive on offense, can push the ball north-south.
Emma Fouch, 5-7 Leesburg Fairfield
Moves well without the ball, good catch and shoot guard with deep range beyond the arc. Can also put the ball on the floor and push the ball to the rim and finish. Plays through contact. Good step-back shooter. Handles the ball well. Solid basketball IQ, good upside.
Mackenzie Gloff, 5-9 Sardinia Eastern Brown
Strong physical kid who can create from either side of the rim, not afraid of contact and will finish the play well. Always working to get in the best position, runs the floor well, can seal her defender and score. Smart defender, outthinks defender. Nose for the ball defender.
Alaina Keeney, 5-9 Wheelersburg
Long and athletic guard who is just super smooth on the court. Moves well, can dictate the style of play and uses her body to create plays. Can get to the rim and score with either hand. Good range from the perimeter. Love the way this kid plays.
