New #1
There’s a new #1 prospect for the state of South Dakota! Louisville commit and 6’5 center out of Sioux Falls Washington Sydni Schetnan was an easy choice to take ahold of the #1 spot with this new update. With her size and rare passing agility she has a firm grip on the #1 spot.
Notable New Prospects
# 17 Emily Kranz | 6’3 | C | Waverly-South Shore I A huge addition to this list coming in at a top 25 spot. Emily has a long build and moves well. Has a nice shooting touch to go with everything else.
# 23 Carolyn Haar | 5’4 | PG | Harrisburg | A highly underrated point guard that ran the show for Harrisburg this past season. They were looking to make a run at a state title. Carolyn would have been a big part of that. Starting AA point guards translate to the next level very well.
#24 Eden Hullinger | 5’4 | PG | Sioux Falls Washington | Another highly underrated, quick point guard that can handle the rock and command an offense. As with Carolyn Haar, Eden has everything you look for in a point guard. Another AA point guard with promise.
#39 Kayden Steele | 5’10 | SG | Newell | A scoring threat from everywhere on the court. Good size for a wing. Kayden is full-throttle all the time. Energizer Bunny
#46 Abby Brooks | 6’2 | C | Madison | Great length and movement ability. A rim-protector with upside. A college strength and conditioning program would do her wonders.
#47 Kennedy Koepsell | 5’7 | PG | Howard | A heady point guard that was having a good start to the state tournament. Can score and run an offense.
#49 Lydia Shroeder | 5’6 | CG | Waverly-South Shore | Tough, controlled, and skilled guard. An all-around solid guard that gets the job done.
#55 Mekiah Campbell | 6’1 | PF-C | Hanson | Great length and can get up-and-down the court quickly. Needs offensive polishing.
#56 Avia Haley | 5’8 | CG | Mitchell | Quick- footed and not afraid to launch threes on you.
Top 25 Stock Up
#5 Olivia Ritter I 5’9 I CG I Tea Area I Big-time scorer capable of putting up 40 point games as she did this past season.
#13 Maddie DeJong I 5’8 I CG I Sioux Falls Christian I An all-around really good prospect at the guard position. Handles it, passes well, and scores from all levels.
#16 Abby Kopecky I 5’8 I SG I Aberdeen Central I A very versatile prospect that makes plays constantly on both ends of the floor.
#20 Maggie Heesch I 6’0 I C I Watertown I Good size and ability to finish inside.
#22 Salma Sharif I 6’4 I C I Sioux Falls Roosevelt I Impressive overall size. Good upside under the right direction. Another example of a prospect that could really blossom with an effective strength and conditioning program.
