1. Kennedy Lee – Manual – 6’1” PF/C (#5)
Kennedy comes into next season as the top 2022 player in the Louisville Area. She has all of the necessary tools as a dominant post player. She is an excellent rebounder and low post scorer. She also controls the paint defensively with her athleticism and shot blocking ability. Extending her shooting range will help elevate her game to the next level.
2. Jaya McClure Jaya McClure 5'6" | PG Christian Academy Louisville | 2022 State KY – CAL – 5’6” PG (#9)
Jaya is not only the best Louisville Area point guard in the class of 2022, but she is the top point guard in the state of Kentucky for her class. She excels on both ends of the floor. She is a crafty ball handler that doesn’t get shaky in traffic and she is a constant disruption on the defensive end. She will need to improve her scoring for CAL to be contenders again in the state. Jaya has already received several D1 offers including Bellarmine, Lipscomb, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
3. Emma Egan Emma Egan 5'8" | SF Bullitt East | 2022 State KY – Bullitt East – 5’8” SF (#17)
Emma is one of those players that does a little bit of everything and she does it well. She has a high motor and a very competitive spirit, which shows each and every time she steps onto the court. Emma has handles like a point guard and the size and strength to get to the basket like a wing. She also shines with her on the ball defense. She has already received an offer from Bellarmine and you can expect several more D1 offers coming
4. Gracie Merkle Gracie Merkle 6'6" | C Bullitt East | 2022 State KY – Bullitt East – 6’5” C (#25)
Gracie is one of the taller players in Kentucky. She will get an opportunity to show her skills more this upcoming season. Gracie has excellent hands and a nice touch around the basket. She had a couple games where if she touched the ball in the paint it was an automatic bucket. She shot an impressive 64% from the field last season. She will need to improve on her 54% from the foul line in order to take advantage of her size.
5. Amaya Asher Amaya Asher 5'7" | PG Central | 2023 State KY – Central – 5’7” PG (#26)
Amaya is a pure scorer playing point guard. She has great size and strength to go with being able to handle the ball under pressure. She is relentless at getting to the basket and finishing in traffic. Amaya needs to continue to improve her outside shot and her free throw shooting. Look for Amaya to be one of the leading scorers in Louisville next season.
6. Daisha White Daisha White 5'11" | C DuPont Manual | 2022 State KY – Manual – 5’10 SF (#34)
Daisha has all of the tools to take Manual to the next level next season. She is super athletic and runs the floor well. Daisha is active on the glass, but needs to become more consistent at going after rebounds. Her offensive game is a little behind, but with the work she has put in over the summer, she could be a true offensive weapon next season.
7. Peyton Nauert Peyton Nauert 5'6" | CG Presentation | 2022 State KY – Presentation – 5’6” CG (#35)
Peyton is a combo guard that can not only score but she also gets her teammates involved. She always seems to make the right play. She also rebounds really well. Peyton is a hard worker on and off the court and is a great leader as well.
8. Tamesha Dozier Tamesha Dozier 6'1" | C Butler | 2022 State KY – Butler – 6’1” C (#37)
Tamesha is another post player in Louisville with great size and skills. She averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds last season on a very talented Butler team that made it to the 6th Region Finals. Expect another state title run next season with Tamesha playing up to her potential.
