Taliyah Johnson Taliyah Johnson 5'6" | PG Temple | 2021 State TX -5’4 G
Johnson’s explosiveness was on full display as she’s one of the most underrated PG’s in Texas. Court vision and ballhandling, check but checks were adding abundantly by her defense and energy, not to mention that pull-up jumper in transition as well well as her attacking the basket
Callie Cooper-5’6 G
Cooper attacks the basket strongly and consistently and just finds ways to create contact and get to the line but watching her set up defenders was definitely a plus as she will be upgraded on the 2021 Texas Top 100. The pull-up jumper, reverse layups and scoring with either hand were solid
Jayla Moore- 5’9 G
Moore’s athleticism stood out as she played the passing lane and understood the importance of it because it led to baskets going the other way but then again, she’s long and athletic the base, remember but her attacking the basket and showing she could connect on the pull-up jumper were pluses
Masa Al Noubani-5’8 G
Al Nouban has made Tip Sheets from me several times so I already had an idea on what to expect and that was consistency on both ends and playing within herself yet she also attacked the rim strongly and finished after contact, over and over but the midrange as well as creating her shot showed progression
Bailey Harris-5’10 F
Harris is, here we go, long and athletic and whether she was scoring on putbacks or showing the mid to long-range, she just found ways to put the ball into the basket but her rebounding, on both ends of the courts well as her being able to create her shot and attack or stop and pop were very nice
Zariah Tillman-5’7 G
Tillman was solid in the skills and drills portion of the event and just as hard when the games started as she showed her savviness on the court and made things happen either by anticipating and deflecting or scoring bt she also saw the floor and defended
Mya Williams-5’7 G
Williams is strong and she attacks the basket the same way but her ballhandling under pressure as well as a deceptive first step enabled her to do that and more like passing off the dribble or making opportunities for herself for the jumper and she also defends
Olanna Gooden-5’3
Gooden is somewhat of a prototype point guard because she handles the ball under pressure and sees the floor well and her pinpoint passes in traffic said a lot but don’t get it twisted, she definitely can score either bt attacking or hitting the outside shot and she defends
