Recruiting News:
Perry Central’s Chelsey Napier has committed to University of the Cumberlands. She joins Casey Coleman Casey Coleman 5'11" | PF Rockcastle County | 2021 State KY and Whitney Caldwell Whitney Caldwell 5'8" | CG Pineville | 2021 State KY in the Cumberlands recruiting class.
Kennedy Lee of Manual has received her first D1 offer. Niagara has offered the forward from Louisville. Likely the first of many for Lee in the next year or so.
Dixie Heights’ Laci Reinhart Laci Reinhart 5'7" | CG Dixie Heights | 2021 State KY has gotten another offer. This one from Bethel College in Kansas.She was also offered by Georgetown College recently.
AAU teammates Shaelyn Steele Shaelyn Steele 5'5" | PG Russell | 2024 State KY and Hayden Barrier Hayden Barrier 5'6" | SG Montgomery County | 2024 State KY have both been offered by Eastern Kentucky. Barrier has also been offered by Morehead State while Steele was previously offered by Marshall.
Kenzie Herald continues to get offers. She was offered by Union College over the weekend.
Butler’s Tiarra East Tiarra East 5'11" | PF Butler | 2021 State KY added an offer from Northern Kentucky last week.
AAU Results:
Kentucky Ballers Elite 2024 went 4-0 on the weekend and were crowned champions at the Best of the Midwest. Their closest game was a 26 point blowout. Carly Smith Carly Smith 5'6" | PG Owsley County | 2024 State KY was lights out while Saige McClure, Madison Curry and Jaelyn Black all played well in the tournament.
