Quanirah Cherry-Montague (2023) | Atlantic City
Montague was close to having her breakout season as a freshman. She led Atlantic City in rebounding and blocked shots. With Ciana Redd-Howard and Madison Brestle graduating, this is now Montague’s team. Expect some big time numbers during her sophomore year.
Sydney Prescott (2021) | Our Lady of Mercy
Prescott was one of Our Lady of Mercy’s top players last season but she is going to put up monster numbers as a senior. She is an elite rebounder on both ends an can score with the best of them. Prescott has the ability to carry her team on the offensive end if they need her to do so.
Marin Panico (2022) | Ocean City
Panico was Ocean City’s second leading scorer last season. She will be the leader returning to the squad next year. Panico can score at all three levels and excels in the lane. She is the best with the ball in her hands and that will be the case during her junior year.
Kimmy Casiello (2022) | Wildwood Catholic
Gabby Turco Gabby Turco 5'10" | SG Wildwood Catholic | 2020 State NJ will not return next season which means Marianna Papazoglou Marianna Papazoglou 5'11" | SG Wildwood Catholic | 2021 State NJ will be in need of a new partner. That partner could turn into Casiello who was second on the team in made three’s during the 2019-2020 season. Casiello is a threat on the perimeter. She is always moving to find the open spot on the floor.
Kaitlyn Boggs (2022) | Mainland
Mainland is losing the top player in the state from last season in Kylee Watson Kylee Watson 6'4" | SF Mainland | 2020 State NJ . This means that Boggs will have to take over as the No. 1 option on the team and this is something that she is capable of doing. Boggs will enter her upperclass years as a leader on and off the court.
Lauren Baxter (2021) | Egg Harbor
Egg Harbor was a 14-win team last season and they did so with a balanced offensive attack. Expect Baxter to take over games more as a senior. She is a talented scorer at all three levels and that will be on display once the season begins.
