Nia Holloway (2021) | Sterling
Sterling was a team last season that was effective down low. They had talented bigs on the post and Holloway on the perimeter. She was a strong ball handler and decision maker in 2019-2020 but she will be looked to score more this season with Latanya Berry gone. This is something that Holloway can do and do from all three levels.
Sara Smith (2022) | Haddonfield
Haddonfield was led by Keegan Douglas in 2019-2020. Smith was her second in command on the perimeter. She was second on the team with 23 three’s and was a threat once she crossed half court. Smith is a player that will take on an extended role next season and that will mean she will put up some big numbers.
Keisha Pierce (2021) | Woodbury
Woodbury is losing some key pieces in Nyasia Clark, Milani Harvey, and Aniyah Nichols. They will need someone to step up and that player will be Pierce in her senior season. She acted as a strong assists player for Woodbury and was elite on the defensive end. In 2020-2021, expect her offensive game to be more aggressive.
Maggie Mulligan (2023) | Haddon Township
Mulligan is one of the more intriguing players heading into the season. As a freshman, she showed signs of being an impact performer. She was able to get into the lane and score in bunches. Mulligan showed great strength down low and was able to get to the free throw line for some easy points.
Zaniyah Carr (2021) | West Deptford
Carr is a true center, which is a dying breed in basketball. She is usually one of the top rebounders on the floor at all times. She also led the team in blocks during her junior year. Carr will be the second leading returning scorer next season and will balance the floor well with Erica McDonnell on the perimeter.
