Sunday I turned my car in the other direction and headed to Plymouth, Indiana, for the LBI Michigan Jamboree, co-hosted by Lady Ballers Insider and Always 100 . Both events showcased some talented young ladies, and it was a great opportunity for me to get eyes on several teams for the first time this Summer. Below is a look at the 14U Indiana teams I was able to catch over the two-day weekend. If a team you follow was there and I didn’t get the opportunity to see them, I will seek them out in the next few weeks.
(There is another article already posted on PGH Michigan, but it is limited to Michigan prospects I evaluated. There were several Michigan teams in Plymouth.)
Always 100
– Paul
This was my second time seeing this group in as many weekends, and with two significant pieces being injured right now, they are heavily dependent on a strong backcourt. 5-4 point guard

Columbia City | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Columbia City continues to make heady, instinctual basketball plays. She is tough-nosed, gritty, but also skilled and poised under pressure. This past weekend I felt like 5-6 guard Emma Reust (2024) of Homestead was much better. She is long, quick/fast, and very active. She also played with an older team Sunday, but she showed no ill-affects and battles at both ends. I think she can develop into an elite defender. 5-3 guard Jersey Paul (2024) of Churubusco is the third member of their backcourt trio, and she played with good energy Sunday. She can shoot it with range beyond the 3-point line, she’s tough and feisty as well, and she really competes at both ends of the floor.

Fort Wayne Snider | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Fort Wayne Snider was again problematic for opposing defenders. She is just so good with the ball right now, extremely quick, fast, and shifty, plus she can explode to the basket and finish. I think the next step for her is to consistently be a 2-way player. She definitely has the athletic tools, and she can cause turnovers from help-side, but I want to see her dictate which way the ball-handler goes a little more. 6-0 forward Macy Oberlin (2024) of Angola saw a lot more playing time this past weekend, and she was solid at both ends of the floor. She has really good length, wiry strength, and she’s not even close to being done growing and gaining strength. I think she’s more of a mid-post ‘4’ right now, but she can develop into a wing with a little work. 5-10 wing

Fort Wayne Northrop | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Fort Wayne Northrop was another who really stood out. Her strength and physicality on the wing is tough to match up against. She attacks the basket strong and finishes around the basket with ease right now against her peers.
Grand Park Premier – Gatlin
This Grand Park team knows how to be scrappy from beginning to end, regardless of the outcome. 5-6 guard Keaton Gatlin (2024) of Carmel certainly has some athletic potential. She is strong for her age, she moves well in most directions, and she is a good downhill scorer attacking the basket. As she adds a little finesse to her game, I think she’ll be a solid contributor for the Greyhounds down the road. 5-6 wing Hallie Wolfe (2024) of Tipton has sort of an “old school” game to her. She is a solidly built kid and looks like a forward, but she handles the ball a lot, she can pass it and find open teammates, plus she’s a solid perimeter shooter. I just like her slow, patient demeanor with the ball. 5-8 forward Ava Carter (2024) of Carmel also showed some nice upside. She has good length, wiry strength, and she is a fluid athlete in most directions. She did some good things skillfully, and I think as she adds more strength, she’ll be a well-rounded wing prospect.
Indiana Elite – Kreinhagen
This team had a tough go of it in the win column last Saturday, but they definitely have some interesting prospects on their roster. 5-7 guard

North Central (Indianapolis) | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Indianapolis North Central certainly looks the part. She is a strong combo guard with length, she has good all-around skill, and she can shoot/score the ball herself or find open teammates in positions to score. Future high school teammate Hannah Yeskie (2024), a 5-3 point guard, had a really nice pair of games when I saw them. She has some speed and quickness, but she does a solid job of taking care of the basketball and getting it where it needs to go. One kid who I don’t think has even scratched the surface yet, is 5-11 forward Catherine Cline (2024) of Cathedral. She is extremely long, wiry, and fairly fluid and bouncy as an athlete. She looks like she’s still growing into her frame, and as she finishes growing and gains strength, she has the potential to become a really nice prospect long-term. She also showed a versatile skillset and quick feet defensively.
Indiana Elite Evolution – Gee
This group had one of the most entertaining games of the weekend, coming back from around 20 points down to bury a 3-pointer with about four seconds left to win the game. “Miss Big Shot” was none other than 5-2 guard Morgan Blake (2024) of Hamilton Southeastern. She is extremely quick/fast and feisty, and she almost plays a little too fast at times, but she is a playmaker, and she made the biggest play of the game. I thought 5-3 point guard Lauren Bradley (2024) of Western was maybe their most consistent player in the game I saw. She has some strength, she’s good with the ball in her hands, and she seemed undeterred by pressure or the moment. She is just a very nice, cerebral, traditional point guard. 5-5 guard Jocelyn Love (2024) of Noblesville was another player who had some moments. She is long, quick/fast and athletic, and she stood out to me at the defensive end of the floor. They might not have the “biggest” names on paper, but they don’t quit and will give you a game until the end.
Indiana Elite Havoc
– Gates
As we discussed several of the other Havoc groups last week, this one also hosts mostly Illinois prospects but does have a pair of Hoosiers on board as well. The most impressive player I saw in the games I watched was 5-10 wing Denver Anderson (2024) of Mount Zion (IL). She is a solidly built wing with good all-around athleticism, plus she flashed a nice skillset. She has the ability to handle the ball in transition and initiate the offense, she is a good scorer attacking the basket, and she can hit shots at all three levels. 6-0 post

Parke Heritage | 2024
IN
(2024) of Riverton Parke is a big, strong, traditional post prospect. She plays with a good motor, runs the floor hard, and doesn’t mind mixing it up inside. She’ll need to continue developing her low-block skill offensively, but she will be a physical presence for years to come. The other Indiana prospect is 5-9 forward Lulu Koehler (2024) of Clay City. She is very long, active, and bouncy. She is always around the ball and involved in the action, making her a nice rebounder.
Indiana Elite Xcel – Crowe
I was excited to watch this group, as they have a nice mixture of predominantly Southern Indiana kids. 5-5 point guard

Evansville Memorial | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Evansville Memorial already has a nice reputation as a gritty, feisty, and skillful lead guard. She is quick/fast, she’s very active, and she plays with a nice feel for the game and rarely makes mistakes. 5-11 wing

Evansville Mater Dei | 2024
IN
(2024) of Evansville Mater Dei has a chance to be a really nice prospect long-term as well. She has an athletic frame, wiry strength, and she moves well in most directions. She can drive it straight-line to the rim and finish, but she also has good touch outside. I felt like 5-8 guard Julia Munkholm (2024) of Fishers was probably the player I knew the least about who stood out the most. She is extremely long, a little thin still, but she looks like she could still grow 3-4 inches. She is fluidly athletic, plus she showed a solid all-around skillset and even handled it at times in transition. This group has a lot of depth and versatility, and they should be fun to watch moving forward.
Indiana Flight North – Caldwell
This was my second consecutive weekend seeing this Flight North group as well, and I like several of their pieces. I’m really starting to enjoy the play of 5-2 point guard Ella Hickok (2024) of Hamilton Heights. She isn’t very big, but she is always impactful. She flies around the floor with her speed and quickness, constantly making plays at each end. She can bury shots outside, collapse defenses and find teammates, plus she is good defending the ball as well. 5-4 guard Brynn Barnett (2024) of Center Grove is another solid guard. She is strong for her age, she has solid athleticism, and she’s a fairly consistent perimeter shooter. I also like her energy/motor. In just a handful of viewings, I don’t know that there are many 2024s who can match 5-7 wing

Zionsville | 2024
State
IN
(2024) of Zionsville Community in the effort department. I feel like if you put her on an obstacle course, instead of figuring out how to get around each item, she’d just go straight through them all without complaint. She’ll need to continue developing her skillset, but she certainly plays the right way.
Indy Swish
This was a team I entered the event with zero familiarity about, but I left really liking three of their players. 6-0 wing Brooklyn Bell (2024) of Greenwood Community might have been the most intriguing. She is extremely long, a little thin, but fluid and almost smooth in her movements. She actually handled it a lot for them and was a playmaker off the bounce. As she learns the nuances of the game, look for her to be a really nice, tall, point forward type down the road. 5-7 wing Carys Wilson (2024) of Franklin Central was another nice athlete for them. She was long, wiry strong, and aggressive to the basket. She is definitely more athlete than ballplayer right now, but she can make plays at both ends of the floor. 5-6 guard Autumn Onken (2024) of Martinsville was the third one who caught my attention. She has an athletic, long frame, she plays with a good motor, and she does some nice things skillfully at different spots on the floor. She isn’t necessarily elite at anything, but she does a lot of things well.
