UTS Elite has been making waves in boys basketball for years now. They are always a key club in the Michigan grassroots scene, playing a big role in the development of prospects at all levels. UTS Elite has now entered the Michigan girls grassroots field. It’s exciting to see another high quality program in the state. They have started by fielding a 15u team this summer. This UTS Elite squad has players that college coaches will want to see. Let’s take a look at their current roster.
THE ROSTER
Maiya Hill (2023, 5-5, G, Lighthouse/East Kentwood)
Hill is a playmaker on the offensive end. She can push the ball on the dribble and is an excellent passer in the open floor.
Olivia Septer (2023, 5-7, G, Forest Hills Eastern)
Septer brings ball handling to the backcourt. She is a coachable player with a nice upside as a prospect.
Trinity Starling (2023, 5-10, Wing, East Kentwood)
Starling brings a lot to the table for UTS Elite. She’s an experienced high school varsity player. Starling provides size and punch on the wing.
Trinity Walker (2023, 5-11, F, Forest Hills Northern)
Walker is a versatile forward. She does a lot of things well and should be able to guard a couple different spots on the defensive end.
Kendall Benson (2023, 6-0, F, Caledonia)
Benson will be a big factor on the glass for UTS. She provides valuable height and length on both ends.
Faith Carson (2023, 6-4, F, Buchanan)
Carson will be critical to the success of this squad. She has the potential to be among the best post prospects in Michigan by the time it’s all said and done. With her height and strength in the paint, Carson will always be a double-double threat.
Arena Guilarte (2023, 5-5, G, Kenowa Hills)
Guilarte will add quickness in the backcourt. She can play at any pace, as well as on or off the ball.
Jada Collins (2023, 5-11, Wing, Kalamazoo Central)
Collins adds athletic wing. She can make plays off the ball and will be a difficult matchup for opponents.
