Matyson Wilke Matyson Wilke 5'10" | CG Beaver Dam | 2021 State #57 Nation WI | Beaver Dam | North Tartan | 5’10 G
Starting at point guard for this squad would be an impressive, highly rated guard Matyson Wilke Matyson Wilke 5'10" | CG Beaver Dam | 2021 State #57 Nation WI . Wilke has a long and lanky frame, but it provides her with a great ability to get into the lane and finish contested layups. She is very aggressive in fast break situations, and she’s very good at driving downhill with a full head of steam. Wilke can stretch the floor and is a nightmare for defensive spacing because she can really see the court. Her vision is very advanced; she can make effortless long outlet passes. She can be a lockdown defender as well. Her shooting stroke is smooth and the ball goes in at an efficient rate. Wilke can play off the ball in some cases or start as a lead guard like she is in this line up.
Sammy Opichka Sammy Opichka 5'11" | CG Green Bay Notre Dame | 2021 State WI | Notre Dame Academy | Wisconsin Flight Elite | 5’11 W
Opichka can run the floor and mainly exemplifies her athleticism on the fast break. In the half court, she’s more of a catch and shoot stype player. She’s able to create her own shot, but that’s certainly not one of her best abilities. Her movement off the ball has improved her game so much. She’s phenomenal at using her ball handles to create space and attack. She has an impressive physical build that makes her a force from all levels of the court.
Maddy Schreiber Maddy Schreiber 6'0" | CG Kimberly | 2021 State WI | Kimberly | Wisconsin Flight Elite | 6’0 G
A guard for most rosters, Schreiber is super dynamic and can really play the 1-4 position. She has a long body with a tall vertical reach; she moves with long strides, allowing her to cover a lot of ground quickly. Schreiber has advanced guard skills for her size- she’s able to handle the ball well in both the half court and transition. She has a decent shot from midrange and deep. She is most deadly off of her jab step into a one- dribble pull up. Her bag of moves is very impressive, especially with how fluid each move she displays is. She’s good at using her body to bully defenders into the lane and then finish over them near the rim as well. She has an impressive shot selection and thrives in the half court offense. She has great perimeter skills but could easily handle her own if put on the block.
Chloe Van Zeeland Chloe Van Zeeland 6'1" | PF Kaukauna | 2021 State WI | Kaukauna | Wisconsin Flight Elite | 6’1 F
A stretch power forward who is beginning to do just a little bit of everything. She has improved her perimeter shooting which will be imperative for her at the next level. She is very athletic and powerful; many times making the highlight play in the aint. Van Zeeland shows glimpses of being extremely explosive. Her mechanics on offense are pretty good when she takes her time and is patient before knocking down a jumper. She uses her body well to create contact and finish strong at the rim.
Chloe Dallas Chloe Dallas 6'2" | PF Wauwatosa East | 2021 State WI | Wauwatosa East | Wisconsin Flight Elite | 6’2 F
Dallas is another versatile big as well. She has a silky smooth release. She possesses a very quick release which causes defenders to have to play her tight even on a 15 foot jumper. She can stretch the floor but is most efficient taking up space in the lane. Dallas has become such a versatile prospect as she is a force on the block and a midrange scorer. Dallas has begun to feel comfortable with her dribble as well. Her athleticism will translate so well at the next level as she impacts on both ends. A lockdown defender as well having a player like Dallas on defense causes so much chaos. A rebounding specialist without a doubt, Dallas also brings shot blocking and great post defense to the floor.
First off the bench:
Morgann Garder | Racine Catholic | Midwest Elite | 6’1 F
Gardner is a consistent shot maker, both from midrange and from three point territory. She’s very strong off the catch, and she’s extremely dangerous with her one dribble pull-up midrange. She uses her jab step so well; it’s realistic, not exaggerated, and most importantly, controlled. She maintains balance and does not speed herself up while going through her progressions. She’s an off-ball threat on the fast break because she sprints to her spot after a board. She commands attention in the paint and has so many post moves in her bag.
Bailey Butler Bailey Butler 5'7" | PG Black Hawk | 2021 State WI | Black Hawk | 5’7 G
A prolific scorer, speciality with her attack to the basket. Butler also has such a smooth and routine perimeter shot. She does not let the defense alter her shot and remains composed and follows through so well. She is fantastic both off the catch and off the dribble, largely in part because of her quick hands. She is able to rise into her shot in a very short time, and her release itself is fast too. She does a great job handling the ball and facilitating. A floor general, Butler see’s the floor well and finds her teammates effortlessly. She thrives on defense and plays with so much passion, playing 100% on each possession that she is on the floor.
