Brynn Tabeling Brynn Tabeling 5'4" | PG Tuscola | 2021 State IL , 5’4” Guard, Tuscola
The quick, High-IQ Point Guard did a terrific job on both ends of the floor with her Example Sports squad. Tabeling excels in an up-tempo offense with her speed while handling the ball and superb court vision. She’s one of the most creative passers in the state and scores the ball at all three levels with a nice jumper from three.
Lauren Hall Lauren Hall 5'10" | SG Fenwick | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Fenwick
Playing on a talented Chicago Power team, Hall showed great athleticism and versatility. She can play the 1-4 well with her ability to handle the ball and score from the outside, while also being able to post up smaller defenders and make plays in the lane.
Ellie Wisner Ellie Wisner 5'10" | CG Neuqua Valley | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Neuqua Valley
Wisner is a long and athletic Shooting Guard who does a lot of things well from the Wing. She’s a lethal shooter from deep and can take defenders off the bounce to get to the rim. Once past the first line of defense, Ellie has proven to be a good decision maker on whether to pull up for the mid-range jumper, take the ball strong to the rim, or dish off to an open teammate.
Timia Ware Timia Ware 5'5" | PG Whitney Young | 2021 State #58 Nation IL , 5’6” Guard, Whitney Young
One of the top recruits in the 2021 Class, Ware most definitely showcased a little bit of why this weekend. She is one of the quickest and most talented ball handlers in the country and makes passes that very few can make. The Example Sports Point Guard gets her teammates involved any chance she gets but can also score the ball well at every level.
Juliana Cutrara Juliana Cutrara 5'5" | PG Marian Catholic | 2021 State IL , 5’5” Guard, Marian Catholic
Coming off a knee injury that sidelined her for much of her Junior season, Cutrara looked just like the Point Guard she was last year with the IL Lady Lightning. She is smooth and confident driving through traffic and composed against pressure. Juliana can score at the rim and knock down shots from outside, but her IQ and court vision make her a dynamic true Point Guard.
Lauren McDonald Lauren McDonald 5'9" | CG St.Ignatius | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Saint Ignatius College Prep
One of the more under-recruited rising Seniors in Illinois, McDonald is a strong off-ball Guard that can score from anywhere on the court. She showed this past weekend with the IL Lady Lightning that she has plenty of range from the three-point line and uses her strength and quick first steps to attack the lane and finish through contact at the hoop.
Greta Kampschroeder Greta Kampschroeder 6'0" | SG Naperville North | 2021 State #10 Nation IL , 6’0” Guard, Naperville North
The #1 Ranked Player in Illinois’ Class of 2021 showed why she deserves that ranking throughout the weekend. The Midwest Elite Guard/Forward and Oregon State commit has success in the post and out on the perimeter on both ends of the floor, using her strength and skills to consistently outmatch her opponents. Kampschroeder knows how to take advantage of mismatches on offense and find the most efficient way to score.
Gabi Melby Gabi Melby 5'6" | CG Naperville Central | 2021 State IL , 5’4” Guard, Naperville Central
Kampschroeder’s Midwest Elite teammate is a proven sharpshooter that continues to develop a very well-rounded game. Melby is a strong ball-handler who isn’t afraid to attack the paint and make plays in the lane. She’s a lethal shooter from beyond the arc, making shots at a high rate off-the-bounce or from spotting up.
