This past weekend was a great opportunity to see many teams play. As I previously noted I spent most of time with 16u and 15u teams. Here are some players on 16u teams that stood out as wings/forwards that should be tracked by college coaches.

 

  • player_tooltip player_id="124869" first="Elle" last="Evans"] is a 6'1 2022 Wing from Edwardsville and Blue Star Silvey. Elle is a very tall and long wing that can affect the game in many ways. I think there are people, and I have to admit that I am one of them, that mistakenly pegged her as just a shooter early in her career. Despite her thin frame Elle has shown she is not afraid to be much more than a shooter. She gets many more offensive boards than I expected and does the little things like get on the floor for loose balls. Elle could really benefit from additional strength, but she really gets production out of what she has. She is shooting almost 70% from 2 point range and 85% from the line for the summer despite being a bit off at 33% from behind the arc. Elle is a player that could really blossom as
